[[yeah, sure...]]

Sakeri, a voice echoed from the darkness. The young redhead fumbled in her sleep, trying to block out the voice, but it persisted. Sakeri... Sakeri... Images of her parent's graves flashed through her mind and she whirled over to her side struggling to block them out. A large wolf with splotches of gray, adorning his coat, lifted his head in question. His eyes narrowed in concern for his Linker as she writhed in her sleep.

"Sake," he said in a harsh whisper, nudging her with his paw. But, she didn't hear him and continued to thrash about. Panic blared in his mind and he leapt up to his feet. "SAKE!" Sakeri flew up with a gasp, and the canine gave a sigh of relief.

"You had me worried there for a minute," he grinned, sitting on his haunches. Hand clutched at her chest, the girl took large gulps of air, trying to even out her breathing. The horrors of her past shoved away in the darkest corner of her mind.

"Shut up, Amati," she chuckled, panting. Sakeri threw herself back onto the plush grass, gazing at the endless sky. She folded her large blue and jacket around her, thinking bitterly about the memories of her father. He'd never cried after mom died... He didn't even acknowledge it. Money was all that mattered to him. She loved her father; she wanted him to acknowledge her. But, he'd simply give one of those empty smiles and dissapear off to his next job.

"He was probably happier there, anyway," she muttered. Sakeri's heart wrenched at the thought, and her hands clenched angrily around the only thing her father had left her. That woman he fell in love with... Doris. Why was he stupid enough to trust her? She killed him and then took everything. Sakeri's hand began to shake with fury at the thought of mankind. They're evil! Every last one of them is evil!!!

"Sake?" Amati whispered, cutting through her thoughts and scattering them about. "Is everything, ok?" Sakeri turned toward him, flashing a reassuring smile as she moved up to pet his great head.

"Of course, I'm ok," she smiled, scratching his ears. "What ever made you think I wasn't?" Amati's yellow eyes gazed at her in silence before he shook his head and laid down next to her.

"Nothing, really..."

Halls of steel created a maze of technology miles beneath the ground. A figure dashed through the halls with incredible speed. Men with guns open fired, only to be killed by this mysterious figure. Sirens echoed and the PA system blared a constant message.
"Code Red! Code Red! Subject escape! Threat level off the charts! Use extreme caution and full force!"
A large group of soldiers cut the figure off and aimed their guns. The figure's chest opened, revealing an atomic cannon. The soldiers panicked and ran for their lives, but it was too late. An enormous blast of atomic energy obliterated the soldiers, leaving no trace of their existance. The figure ran until it came to an exit. Punching the steel door outward, the figure ran off into the night. A well-dressed man and a small group of soldiers watched the figure run away. The man glared in the moonlight.
"We will find you, Slater."
He turned around and looked over his shoulder.
"Sooner... or later."

Viana wandered the forest for a while. She was thinking about hte blind old lady she had tea with earlier that day. Viana had changed her minds about humans. They werent all that bad if they cared so much about cats. As she was walking she saw a figure dashing through the trees. She pulled out her daggers ready to fight.

Danian stood straight with his gun still pointed at the place were the head of his last victim was. The corpse now lying on the floor was ruined, making it impossible to identify. His bullets, twice the size of a normal bullet had completely destroyed the head of the man lying on the floor. With a grin he turned around and looked at two humans holding eachother, shaking on the floor.
'It's alright now. It was just a serial killer, but not anymore. You are safe.' said Danian. After a small bow, he turned around and jumped into the night.

Hours later, Sakeri's emerald eyes peeked out beneath her lids. The stars still dancing on their endless midnight stage. She gazed almostly loving toward the sky, and with a sad sigh she sat up, running her small hand through her rich crimson locks.

Sakeri... a voice whispered. Sakeri snapped around, looking out onto the dark horizon but found no signs of life. Sakeri, Sakeri... It echoed hauntingly. The teen scrambled to her feet, hand clutched tightly around the curved dagger at her side. She looked around wildly, but found no sign of anything, save her and Amati, who was still sound asleep. Shaking her head, Sakeri gripped it almost desperately, wondering wether or not she'd gone completely crazy. No, It's only us.... the gods.

"Shut-up," she groaned, tossing her head left and right, but the voices persisted to no end.

We can help you, they whispered. Sakeri grunted falling to her knees as she tried to block them out. We know where she lives. She froze at those words, eyes wide with surprise. Doris was only image flashing in her mind. Her hands clenched at the thought of the woman's avarice and betrayl. All these years, Sakeri had wished to confront the hag, but she didn't know where she lived. That... woman had seemed so nice, always smiling always laughing. Who knew there was a lying, seething beast beneath that charming smile? The offer seemed so tempting, but was it real? Or, was she really going crazy?

"Sakeri?" Amati mumbled, half alseep. All at once the whispers halted, and Sakeri turned around to face her companion.

"Yeah?" she inquired innocently. He gazed at her through half-lidded eyes, confusion filling them to the brim.

"Why aren't you sleeping?" he moaned, struggled to get up. Sakeri only giggled as she folded her legs comfortably and began swaying from right to left.

"I'm not tired anymore," she answered sweetly. The canine nodded, still half-asleep.

"Did you want to start moving to the next tow-" he tried to inquire, but before he could finish the girl had hopped onto her feet and begun walking away.

"Let's go!" she chirped, happily.

Masaru sighed lightly as she quietly walked out of a small house on the edge of town. Her second cousin had outright refused her a place to live, blaming her for her little brother's death just as everyone else had. She had slipped into another rage, killing her and her husband. Masaru couldn't make herself regret it though.

They deserved it.

Every person in her family's clan blamed her for the accident. Before it her brother had been a much worse person than she. I don't suppose that's true anymore. She smile wryly.

She had exterminated her entire family, in what she supposed could be considered a brutal fashion. The screams echoed in her ears, lending her a morbid satisfaction as she cleaned her blade on the leaves of a tree in the front yard. She stood for a moment, staring into the dense forest her kin had resided on the edge of. Mindful of her own self-preservation, she quickly darted into the thick cover of trees.

Reese Slater made his way into the city. He stumbled about, balancing himself against buildings and finally came to an alley. He slumped against the wall and sat down, allowing his self-repair system take over. He would be good as new in a few minutes, but for now he would have to wait. As he glanced about, sensors indicated that most life forms were sleeping in the general area.
Sleep, he thought. I haven't needed that in quite some time.
Pondering this, he grew sad, knowing that those people took away something he could never replace... his humanity.

In a land of eternal mist, six figures surround a small, glowing pond. Some standing, some sitting on elegantly carved thrones.

"The girl?" a woman drawled out in a seductive whisper as she lounged across her throne. It was beautiful nymph like female with pale white skin, and head full of rich blue hair. "Have you reeled her in, yet?"

"Shut it, Aequis," a man droned. His ebony skin made him almost invisble in the darkness. His silver eyes flickering toward the woman. "It's not like you're doing anything." The goddesse's dry, mocking laugh filled the air.

"I thought you were the best at convincing your pets..." His glowing, silver eyes narrowed in anger as he turned to advance on the arrogant Deity. A flutter of white halted him, and there between the two stood a tall, elegant maiden. A white light seemed to radiate from her skin as her stern golden eyes glared at her fellow, lounging goddess.

"That is quite enough," she snapped in her stern voice. "There is are far bigger problems out there, than your petty arguments. We need to correct a mistake. One, we made long ago." She whirled toward the pond in a blinding flash of white and lay a shining slipper on it's smooth surface. At once, a million faces appear on it's serene surface. "Locate the seedlings in area 27." Suddenly a miniature of the area popped up in a water-like form and miniatures of those seedlings in the area glowed a distinct red as they continued copying the actions of their mortal counterparts. Her elegant hand pointed toward a mining town, one that would eventually level the whole mountain.

"We'll start of small," she stated. "That way the humans won't know what's coming. Try and contact the seedlings in that area and have them tear down that village."

[[Whew, I finally got the time to fix it! ^_^ YAY! So, this is an invitation to take part in tearing down a mining city, that the gods believe will destroy the mountain. Their idea is kinda like placing a frog in cold water and then turning up the temperture slowly until it's too late for the frog to jump out. That or set the humans on each other by making them believe it's a terrorist attack... I haven't really decided. It would be kind of silly to have terrorists attack a small village, unless of course the mine was of great value to the government!!! O.O Ideas are always welcome here. xd ]]

In a seemingly deserted ghost town on an elevated land, a tall dark figure skipped merrily through the main street. The very edge of his dark blue royal cape was draped with blood as it dragged along scattered limbs. It was a freezing cold night, with dark clouds hovering low, but the full moon oddly in plain sight, shining down on the smiling stranger. His soft humming was just about the only sound that could be heard around, with the air laying still.

As he walked past a broken down house, the humming came to a halt. Inside was a shivering little girl crouching behind a set of clothing in a closet, who repeatedly said the words "mommy" and "daddy" in a low volume. The stranger outside grinned with ecstasy, and walked through the door, where a man and a woman lay dead, slowly pacing through the empty hallway. His every step that cranked the wooden boards filled the little girl with anxiety, as she sat stiff, wrapping her tiny arms over her bent legs, and holding unto herself tightly. Her wide open eyes were shaking with sheer fear.

The man entered the room she was at with a ghostly pressence, and the temperature around him dropped to an even lower level. He walked slowly towards the closet. As he set aside the thick coats, he found the cute little girl, shivering with fear and cold, looking straight into his eyes. The man bent down, and spoke fondly, "Hello, pretty little babe. I'm your new buddy, Kin. We're going to be best friends..."

He smiled at her most innocently, but the little girl, frozen stiff, only shook her head with disregard. He came to stare at her, forcing the child's head to turn towards him. Her eyelids were forced to open, revealing her mahogany eyes. Kin's left eye saw deep into hers, and seeked into her very heart what she feared the most.

"Don'y worry, princess. Boogy man is here..." Kin's caped figure melted away into a greenish blob, with razor sharp teeth that opened wide, revealing its serpentine tough that lashed about like a sharp whip. The thing laughed menacingly and opened wide to devour her. A high pitched shriek filled the empty town and quickly died away.

Moments later, Kin came out of the broken down house, blood stained on his mouth. "That filled me for the night, and it sure was a lot of fun!" He declared, his innocent voice echoing through the lifeless place. As he continued to skip around merrily through the dead bodies on the street, a portal opened before him, revealing a pitch-black emptiness from the other side. As hollow as it seemed, a dark being came out. Kin tilted his head in utter curiosity as he watched what seemed to be a skeleton wearing a pitch black cloak, with a big scythe held by his hand. It wore a dark hood that overshadowed its face, as to not make it visible.

"It is time..." The ominous "man" raised his hand and pointed his scythe towards a buzzling city below, just ahead of the town. Kin blinked twice in facination of the flashing lights.

"Woooow!" He made a gullible cry, placing his hands over his cheks.

"Destroy them..." But Kin had already gone, on his way to the flashing lights. The hooded stranger gave an evil laugh as it retreated back into the portal. The god of fear, was pleased.
