The boy arched an eyebrow. Dangerous substances? "The only danger would be not accepting help," RuiZhi said thoughtfully. He lifted his shoulders in a gentle shrug, as he had no idea what Nathaniel was talking about to begin with. It must be alchemy or some foreign material management, neither of which the boy knew enough of to offer supportive words for anyway.
Ah, notes! Now there was something he understood. He motioned as well he could to the papers under his arm, smiling, "I understand that. Oh! If you're busy, I wont keep you." RuiZhi didn't feel it would do any good to be rude on a first meeting, especially if Nathaniel had something pressing he wanted to do; the boy knew all to well about wanting to get something done when it was alive and well in his mind.

Nathaniel nodded thankfully, "Yes I was actually... I've got quite a few more notes to take down..." He adjusted the things in his hands and offered a small smile. In a rush? No. Busy? Yes. There was a quite a difference and Nat really didn't care to sit around really explaining what kinds of things he was doing. It didn't matter what the other thought or offered for help, Nat wouldn't accept anyone helping with his poisons. Those were the things he wanted to keep inside and locked away, of all the things he had always locked up. These were important... even Jaden wouldn't get their importance.

Reshuffling his items in his arms, RuiZhi gave a curt nod. "It was very nice to meet you, Nathaniel. Good luck in your studies. Hopefully we can meet again under less busy circumstances." The Chinese boy smiled widely, bobbing his head again before moving to shuffle beyond the other boy. He had a distinct feeling that he wouldn't be seeing much of Nathaniel; in a way, they were alike, two individuals dedicated to their goals. Perhaps one day they'd cross paths again, and perhaps not, but RuiZhi would send positive thoughts for the success of the other boy.
