Within 1 year: Taking the general music class in highschool to start learning some music theory, and the sort. Find members for a small band I want to start...just to have some fun. And start working to save up for a custom ESP M-II(the model that Kirk Hammet has) guitar with my name on the entire fretboard instead of skull inlays.
The next year: Order my Custom ESP M-II. (Takes eight months to make and recieve..damn long time). Take the guitar music class in highschool. Plan on being top of the class. Start a few gigs with my recently formed band. Get my Custom ESP M-II.
The year after that: Absolutely no idea.

Get better at guitar, start up a band, possibly learn how to sing...self taught that is, I'm not paying people to teach me that. :/

Create and maintain a good group of musicians with similar interests in Sydney, get better at songwriting and crafting solid songs for my band.
I don't have any illusions about "making it" in the mainstream music scene. talk2hand

I'm going to graduate from my engineering degree, get a good job and save up money to build my own house from the ground up, studio and all. Then I'm going to start filling that with crazy gear and I'll eventually get some amazing people to record there; make some breakthrough hits and such (and of course record my own stuff).

Get better at bass, buy an electric guitar and get good at that, find a drummer for my band, write a song for the band, sort out regular band practices, and get a demo CD done.

Well, when Xmas comes around,I am getting an Epiphone Goth G-400 Electric, which I think is a really good guitar. It would be better than my crap sounding Squier Bullet.I am then going to ask my friends with they play any insturments, and start a band.
