He paused. For once, she nailed him. Good. Actually, this is the first time any one has ever 'nailed' him. She said that he would be the one to first leave and yet he said that she would be. It seems that he was wrong. Well, she has a lot of rage in her, that was for sure. He stopped where he was and waited for her to come to him before looking over his shoulder.
"Well well well, it seems that you were the first one to ever have me get myself wrong. You were right, I was the first one to leave," in his defeat, he sat down and smiled, a genuine one too. Rarely he gave those, he was unsure if this choice of his was a good one or a bad one, but it was one that had to make. He lost his word and this female seemed to swing with rage and persistences. She could become a good thief if she had wanted to.
"I apologize then, for everything that transpired tonight. It seems that one word wrong on my part could mean that everything I said could have been wrong for all you know. As true as that is, wanting someone to be loyal, but I am still looking for something more. I don't know if you have it or not, but I guess I could stick around a bit to see if you do, or you could do the favor to stick with me, whichever."
He smirked that devious smirk once again. "My name's Xanatos, ex member of the Xivati coalition of the South Lands."

Kumi huffed. Wondering if she even wanted to follow him anymore. He was already proving to be unworthy of her precious time. "My love" She said sarcasticly with anger still plastered on her face and easy to read. She nodded her gold eyes unblinking and watching him for sudden movements.
"Of course I was right. All males tend to leave first." She spoke as if she were annoyed and wanting HER way. There was no other way. Just hers. (And if they didn't follow HER way it would be OFF WITH THIER HEAD!) "BUT. I think I'm going to stick around and keep your fluffy butt in check. Or you're gonna wake up with a few scratches."
Kuumia was surprised. "Oh! So you DO have a name?" (even though she DID think it was odd) "But I don't like it." She sounded rude and knew it. Was trying to. "So you shall still be 'my love' until I find a better name. Like Beetle." Her fave lit up.
"From now on you are 'My Lovely Beetle!' Now you just have to pick a name for me."

He seemed to be at a lost of words. What was he saying? The way she just... Oh jeez... He looked at her with a twitching eye as he looked at her.
"... fluffy butt in check... I'd gladly take the scratches now."
He could not help it anymore. What did she just call him!? Xana glared at her and glowered. 'My Lovely Beetle' ... WHAT SORT OF NAME IS THAT!? He supressed his rage, but the twitching tail could not be helped.
"I refuse to reply to that. I will never acknowledge it. I give you a chance and you are really pushing it, Umi. I'm calling you that. My mother's name was Umi, feel special about it."
He slowly raised to his feet and sniffed around.
"I am gonna spend the night at your den. Mind leading the way?"
Xana paused.
"I am giving you a chance, Umi, do not cross me or you will find me gone from your life."

"Beetle" She whispered making sure she was hardly audiable. Even if he DID hear her she could simply say 'There's on on the ground.' She laughed. "Lovely Beetle? I think it's cute. And cause I like beetles. They're fun." She smiled.
"Umi?" hmmm. That was close enough to her name so it would be pretty easy to know when he was talking to her. Even if she forgot. Kuumia nodded and turned around. "I guess you could stay with me if you wanted to." And she began walking looking behind her to make sure he was following her every so often.
"Yes sir." She laughed and continued on her way. "At least you're not leaving me yet. Because what fun would that be?"
