"I don't know, Wahabu. I don't think i'm ready to face father yet." She looked down, a frown on her maw. She looked away, towards her den. "And I do live a fair amount away from father's den. I just wanted to get some fresh air and take a nice relaxing walk."

"I didn't know I was going to run into my brother." She smiled and turned back around, padding lightly towards her home. "Though, i'm kind of glad I did run into you. Its nice to know your still in the lands, Wahabu. It makes me really happy ... "

Wahabu gave a slight shrug-nod when she said she wasn't ready to face their father just yet- he certainly wouldn't be up to it if he'd done what she did. Of course, she appeared to have changed quite drastically- not that Habu was too sure he believed it yet. It was almost unbelievable. He did, however, believe that she didn't know she would run into him- it was just like he didn't know he would run into her. Though he would have been less likely to expect it, seeing as he'd been sure she was living far, far away from here.

"I'll do you a favour and not tell him I saw you, then," he said simply. He didn't even notice how she didn't seem so concerned with facing their mother again- but he was sadly used to her not being around, and didn't know she'd already been faced with the goddess.

"Thanks, brother. I owe you one, big time." She smiled, and then turned back around padding towards her own home. She was more than happy to see her own brother again, though she would soon visit her father when the time was right. She was still nervous, afraid to hear what he would say to her ...

She was just glad to be back. Maybe returning to the Pridelands was a good idea, after all. She'd have to thank Kikore'ruia later for suggesting to return to their homeland. Ah yes, she was great to be back home once more! And so, Kilango returned to her mate's side, nearby the little flowing river, near the edge of the Pridelands. A peaceful place, indeed.

Habu nodded slowly when Kilango said she owed him. And when she turned off and headed back towards her den, he had a chance to really take in what had just happened and stare dumbfoundedly off where she had come from.

Were things ever going to be peaceful again?
