The 440 page one is called "Guns Germs and Steel" by Mark Kurlansky. It was ok, but it got kind of boring with all the facts and what not.
The other book was called "Cod" [I forgot the author XD] but it's about the most boringest book you'll ever read. It's basically about fish and how they "changed the world"

I think Amon changed the world more than fish. xd Actually, WHR in general changed the world moreso than the fish. My opinion, anyway. xD
