There are a lot of true gems in here, including Akihiro Honda, who's probably going to make music for Snake's stage. Now, the one I find interesting is Tomoko Sasaki, who origionally worked on NiGHTS into Dreams. Many of you will remember the creative and amazing music that was one of the numerous strong points of the game. Now the question remains: what's he doing on Brawl? Possibly a NiGHTS stage or a Sega stage in general. Perhaps NiGHTS will appear as an assist trophy character with a musical opening. I'm guessing this is a pretty good sign for those who wanted Sonic in Brawl. Now all we need is for the next SSB to allow Mario to beat the crap out of Master Chief. What if NiGHTS was an actual character? surprised I wouldn't mind it, but if they chose NiGHTS instead of Sonic, then I'd be pretty pissed... Well, The Studio said that 3rd party characters would amut to one or two excluding Snake. Its possible seeing as how Sega is afraid of giving Sonic a gun, and Brawl includes a rocket launcher. I'd really like too see Shadow because he could have a better moveset than Sonic, although NiGHTS is completely possible since he has appeared on a Nintendo console. IE Sonic Riders.

So, today's update kind of confirms that at least one Earthbound character will be appearing in Brawl. Now, normally, I'd just say Ness, but IGN had one of those Smash it Up articles and it pointed out a different character has always supposed to have been in Ness' place, the hero from Mother 3. So, who knows who it could be...

Pokemon trainer as a playable character? That was a surprise! It looks like it will be quite interesting to play as him. And this brings up the question if Pokeballs will be returning as an item in this game.

I'm a big on hoping that Zero would show up, but even more open to seeing Banjo and Kazooie.

As much as I'd love to see Banjo and Kazooie, I doubt Nintendo would have enough money to buy that license from Microsoft. Not saying I wouldn't like, I just think it isn't going to happen. As for other characters, from Nintendo, aside from characters in previous Smash titles, I'd like to see Paper Mario, Captain Olimar & Pikmin, the Miis, and Tom Nook or Copper (there is an Animal Crossing level!) make an appearance. And on the third party front, I'd like Sonic (of course), Bomberman, and maybe Sora from Kingdom Hearts...

Having lots of the same characters with different moves just makes sense to me, and it would expand the library of charaters pretty easily.
