Harper considered for a moment and then gave a brief pout, "What happened to the green socks? Hey, if you aren't takin' them I am!" He said indignantly before he shook his head and grinned at her. "You look good!" He told her, considering it a moment. "Might not have to worry about flashin' the world with those socks, too!"
He happily went back into the stall to pick up his old clothes and the other clothes he decided to keep. "Think they will let me keep these on? Way more comfortable than that stupid shirt.."

Manny blushed bright red, she was flashing people?! Hesitantly she tugged the skirt down a bit, "I think if you pay for them they will, or as long as we don't leave the store." She picked up the green socks thoughtfully, then compared them to the green plaid skirt, "I think I'll keep them for this, but you can borrow them any time. How about we try some more stuff." Well, not the same thing maybe. "Like, you close your eyes and I'll dress you up," she suggested, "And then you tell me what you think of it and we swap.

"You want me to get naked?" Harper asked, somewhat bewildered, and way louder than he needed to causing a few people to glance over a little disturbed.
"Or do you want me to go into the.. Oh, whatever you say." Harper gave up trying to figure out how that would work, so he promptly closed his eyes, held up his arms, and stood there doing his best not to peek and/or fidget.

Manny blinked, "Um, I kind of meant. You have underwear on right?" It wasn't a big deal if they both did, the dressing room was big enough for two people and friends did stuff like that all the time. There was nothing wrong with that, right? He was her friend and they were picking clothes.

Harper blinked a few times. "Oh." Wait, did he even have underwear on? He looked panicked for a few seconds and then sighed very relieved. YUP! He did! Hooray.
"Okay!" That was a relief. He went into the dressing room and took off shirt and pants, cleverly leaving on his striped toe socks. At least the boy had kid-boxers on, that would shy the sudden slight embarrassment he felt for being in his underwear. Of course, for the little embarrassed he felt, Harper was certainly not one to be inhibited so he shook it off easily. He held up his arms again promptly and closed his eyes.

"Ok, I'll be back in a minute, you can open your eyes if you want because I'll knock on the frame before I come in," she told him, then turned toward the racks. Now, the question was, something cute or something funny? The first outfit she found was kind of surfer, which didn't really suit him, but it would look cute. But the second was perfect in her mind. Heading back to the dressing room she seemed pleased, and didn't hesitate to knock on the frame, "Found something!"
She waited five seconds then figured that was enough of a warning, backing inside in case his eyes were still open. "Close your eyes and lift up your arms ok?" She told him, then set the jeans down on the tiny corner shelf.

Harper had kept his arms up and eyes closed the entire time, and by now was twitching his feet irritably and making odd faces. "My arms are getting tired!" He told her pathetically, in an attempt to hurry her up.
"Hey, if I end up lookin' like some nobody I'm gonna make you sorry when it's my turn!"

"You won't look like a nobody," Manny told him, hoping his threat was empty. She rolled the shirt up so it would be easier to put on him, and got up on her tiptoes to slip it down over his arms. It fit kind of snug, but not enough that it would be uncomfortable. "You can put your arms down now," she laughed, but you have to put one foot up."

Harper gave a relieved sigh as his arms collapsed to his sides, "Ugh, finally! They felt like blocks. It's like torture."
He almost opened his eyes at first before catching himself, "Oh, you still aren't done?" He promptly stuck both feet in the air, awkwardly catching his balance with his hands he made another face at her, though his eyes remained closed.

"No, you don't have any pants on," she laughed, picking the jeans up from the corner. She almost fell down laughing when he tried to put both legs in the air, but held it back as she tugged the jeans onto him, quickly zipping and buttoning them. She rearranged the shirt so it fell kind of bunched over the waist of the jeans. "Just a few more things," she told him, "And you can stand normally."

Harper gave a sigh of relief when he could put his legs down as well. He'd have to learn how to hold up his limbs without so much strain later! One at a time'd probably work, of course.
He stood up, shook his arms and grinned, "I look stupid don't I?" He asked in a 'I knew it' tone.

"No, you don't look stupid," Manuela promised him, reaching for her two finishing touches. The first was a shiny silver necklace which she easily slipped over his head and into place, and the second was an interesting houndstooth fedora with a black emblem on it and a few safety pins stuck in the brim. She had to adjust it a bit so his hair would still look good, but finally she was done. "There you go," she told him proudly, "You can open your eyes now."

Harper took no time in opening his eyes and quickly looked to the mirror. He looked himself over briefly and began giggling, making it quite unclear if he liked the way he looked or not. After a couple of seconds, however, he had grinned at her, "Looks great! Specially the hat. Though I think my hair just smashed into my brain.." He said thoughtfully while touching the hat. He gave himself another look and nodded in approval at her before waving his hands around, "Alright alright! Your turn!" And thus he rushed out of the stall to go find clothes.
"YOU BETTER BE DRESSABLE BY THE TIME I GET BACK!" He yelled on his way out, causing more disturbed looks from various people in the shop.

"Ok, don't make me look like a clown," she called nervously, unzipping the skirt. The boots she kicked off into the corner, along with the tiny skirt, and in just a few shuffles she was left standing there in her black boyshorts and camisole. Well, it wasn't that bad, it hadn't seemed to bother Harper at least. Being a bit more patient than him she sat down on the little shelf, flicking her tail as she held her eyes shut tight.

A few minutes later and Harper entered the dressing with, banging the door slightly. "Don't look!" He yelled quickly, dropping the collected outfit he had on the floor and ruffling through it quickly. He quickly laced a belt through the loops of some pants and then picked up a shirt, telling her to throw up her arms and both her legs!
Hey. If he had to suffer, why shouldn't she?!
"Ready for your transformation!?" He asked with a snort and grin.
