Daedalus made it outside, and let Mara down. He turned to Roland.
"If you wanna go back in there, be my guest, but I think this should be enough."
He looked down at Mara, as she growled.
"Whatever, let's get going. We need to find where they took those apples, and we need to get there. It's not gonna be easy, but, I have a plan."
He laughed, and offered his hand to Mara.

Roland had seen the wounding of Mara and asked in an alarmed tone "You think she should be moved just yet?" He gave a weak little smile, unhappy about being himself again. "Hey, I think they would have gone out of town." He smirked, because he smelled a bit less like s**t than a minute ago. "No-one ever went to Pennily's island even when people were here to go places...." He laughed. "No-one likes p***s land!" He was happy. "So, chief. What's the idea?"

Cayden walked through his small town with a sense of great pride, his eyes shifting this way and that as he inspected his people; they were all servants of the mansion, it would be a shame should they fall ill. His steps were brisk and he reached his destination in no time, two large cast iron gates leading out to what was left of the rest of the world. His hand reached slowly towards his neck, his fingers playing against thee golden chains that rested there; a fairly large key dangling from them. He removed the chains to slip the key away, its place fitting in between the gates to unlock them with a small click. A rusty creak filled the small town, few people looking upwards from their work as their master left the grounds, leaving them locked inside and hungry to please when he returned.
The gate clicked shut behind him and the lock fell back into place, his key returning to the chains that so delicately draped around his neck; he was too proper for his own good, he shouldn’t have to leave his man-made paradise. It would be easier to shift then to walk, the nearest official town being more then a few miles away, and there was no desire to keep up appearances one those gate were closed; it would seem outside was certainly more comfortable. With a small growl he began his change, loud crunching sounds filling the air around him as he began to take his natural form; a large dark wolf now standing in his place. The key around his neck was tighter now, the white gold chains almost immediately tangling in his obsidian fur, his eyes glowing a warm ocher; the color of the hunt.
Without much hesitation he took off, his huge paws thudding against the ground as he unknowingly headed towards Mara and her group; soon he would come face to face with his apple thieves and the only people not yet in his grasp.

"honestly, I am fine..." She mumbled to herself as she looked over to roland, trying not to laugh at Pen island... With a small sigh she looked to the sky, watching the sun drift and dodge between the clouds.
"How are we going to get everything back? You saw what they did to the orchard, they stripped everything, they are savage..."

Daedalus held his hand there, feeling somewhat awkward that Mara had not yet taken it. If she continued to not grab the hand, Daedalus would attempt to push the hand into his pocket and hide the rejection on his face, but fail.
"We need to trick them. The key is in the helicopters, we need to man one that we can stock with apples. However, unless Roland is an experienced pilot, or you were in the air force, Mara, I believe we will need to research it, and figure out how the controls work."
He pointed at Roland, at this time.
"You, sir. Do you understand the fine art of seduction?"
As he said this Daedalus would take off his mask, and walk toward Roland. At the end of the sentence, he would end up with his head turned all the way to the side, one of his eyes only an inch from Roland's eye, slightly glaring.

"Seduction... Um..." Roland searched his memories. He was never very good with women. As he grew, their revulsion changed. To running away from him, To punching him over and screaming 'cooties!' To ignoring him, To secretly only being there because he had a successful career. He gave a bit of a grimace. "I know the premise."

Daedalus backed off, and sort of turned away from Roland, looking to the side.
"If it helps, you would be..."
Daedalus was rotating his wrist, and waving his fingers about.
"A woman."
Daedalus chuckled, and continued speaking.
"You will be the one to seduce a pilot, of the helicopter. I can make you a beautiful woman, but you have to coax one of the men into showing you the helicopter, and you might have to take it. Like a b***h."
His voice was completely serious, and the single optical sensor was staring him directly in the face.

Roland's mouth was agape. No-one had ever talked to him that way. "That's not funny." He stared into Daedalus's face. "You can't be..." he felt an overwhelming urge to feel over protective for his genitals. He frowned. "serious."

Daedalus kept standing still, looking directly at Roland. He spoke with an odd, slow deadish sound to his voice.
"I'll make you feel."
A pause, and then he continued.
"I'll make you feel."
He leaned in a little closer to Roland, and then burst into the lyrics with a full blown vibratto, singing in the poor man's face.
"I'LL MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE A NATURAL WOMAN!"
Daedalus crumpled at this point, and began laughing hysterically.

"You know what?" Roland was now very angry. "Screw you. If you can't come up with a feasible plan, I guess I will just go home." As he turned around and walked down the road to his feasible town, he tried to be nonchalant by making little observations. "Oh, look at that fuzzy g-gray bush." He stomped on. But then he made a sudden stop. He had realized something. "Oh, sh-sh-s**t." He ran back, past the bush. "A third of this meat is mine." He picked up a dog and squinted at Daedalus. "So there."

Mara took Daedalus’ hand and slowly wrapped herself in a big hug, her eyes closing for a moment as she listened to the two speak, remaining quiet for the time being and trying to make sense for things. There was a strong throbbing motion beating through her head, her eyes shutting tighter and a low moan escaping her lips. Bloodlust was slowly beginning to overwhelm her and the sound of Roland’s voice wasn’t helping matters. “You should let me find one of those helicopters… I can easily figure out operations and I would be more the willing to dispose of a pilot or two.”

Daedalus nodded, as Mara spoke. He was about to speak, and had opened his mouth, but then his jaw fell open as he saw what Roland had called a gray fuzzy bush. His eyes shot open, and his right hand wrapped further around Mara, in a tight embrace. He then loosened the odd hug, as his hand came away from the holster carrying his .45 tightly. He slowly swung it around, and pointed it in the direction of the 'bush', which would be more accurately described as a huge wolf. Daedalus spoke in a low, hushed tone.
"Rol', you need to learn the importance of humor. But right now, we have much bigger problems."
He then yelled this next part of his speech.
"Hail! please identify yourself!"

Cayden’s fur rose almost instantly, there should be no humans here… With a low carnal growl he lifted himself upwards, slinking behind the nearest building and shifting back to his humanoid form. The sight of a gun was a long lost memory in his mind, the last glimpse of one had been sometime before the fall of the rest of society, had been before the apple trees had grown back. Slowly he straightened himself out and reappeared, his breathing calm as he walked forward and studied the small group before him.
There was only one person that smelled inhuman, the female of the group smelled colder then she should have, her skin pallid and somehow beautiful; by the sight of her she was surely the last remaining vampire. His hands slowly fluttered to the chain around his neck, his eyes glimmering in a rather playful manner.
“Identification, how trivial… And I assure you, I am no problem…”
With a low laugh he let his hands slide into the pockets of his finely tailored suit, his footsteps continuing forward as if the gun perched in the mans hand were simply a toy, a model that a child might play with. The scent of meat caught him by surprise and with a small moment of hesitation he looked to the creatures they were standing over, apparently his dogs were no longer safe in their prison.
“So, if I may be so bold to ask… Just what are you planning to do with my dogs, surely you had a reason for killing them?”
His voice was cool and calm, the half smile on his face clouded by both amusement and disappointment. Those dogs were like him once, their size displaying that proudly; yet they were the few exiled into their pelts.

((Unless people object or have something pertinent to post, I'm going to go now. Feel free to say no.))
Daedalus began tracking the man's head with the gun now, his fingers tightening up on the trigger. His bandages hung loose, and the optical sensor glowed it's usual bright red glow. He responded in a different voice, a voice that sounded like razor blades on steel being run through a low pitch growl.
"Food. Identification, right ******** now."
His head visibly twitched, being brought to the left an inch very rapidly. His left foot rotated fifteen degrees to the left, giving him a more solid footing.

When a bush becomes a giant wolf, one has to wonder about their own poor powers of observation. He was mumbling about his sense of humor when it happened, and watched wide-eyed as events unfolded. He dropped the mentioned dogs and felt a slight pang of guilt. As of what he had seen, gun-pointing was just Daedalus's way of greeting people. He raised his bony hand and said shakily, "Hel-l-lo?"
