Terran:
-Terran marine: A Jack of all trades, terran marines are skilled in hand-to-hand fighting, gunfighting, and piloting starships.
-Pilot: Pilots are elite Fighter pilots. They train hard in space and aerial combat during most of thier free time. These charachters have horrible skills in hand-to-hand and gunfighting.
-Brawler: These characters excell in Hand-to-hand combat, and close quarters fighting with Melee weapons. they however, cannot pilot starfighters or fight very well with guns.
-Siper: Extremely skilled in the use of guns, snipers are a dead accurate shot. They cannot fly starfighters and Know only enough hand-to-hand skills to protect themselves.
-Bridge crew: Skilled in the art of piloting large starships and using thier systems, without these characters, the others could not get where they need to go. there are a few types.
-Bridge pilots: fly the ship
-weapons specialist: Excell in using ship weapons, effectively utilizing a starship's potential.
-Comms officer: Helps communicate with other ships, relays battlefield commands.
-Engineers: skilled in repairing ships systems,they also repair starfighters.
-Demo experts: These kind of characters obviously love to blow stuff up. utilized mainly to destroy enemy strongholds and break down space hulks for raw materials, they also have limited fighting ability on the battlefield.
-Intelligence agents: capable of penetrating behind enemy lines with little to no detection, these brave characters find out secrets of the enemy, at great personal risk. Often die alone and tortured.

Drathonian:
-Blaster: primarily a gunfighter, they are very stupid and shoot just about anything that moves. they usually travel in groups of four or five.
-smasher razz rimarily a brawler, they rush at their targets with reckless abandon and cause as much trouble as possible. their tails have large spikes on them and are especially dangerous.
-Flyer: These pilots only have one goal in mind: destroy the enemy. they trust in thier shield to get them where they are going and then try to do as much damage as possible. a bit smarter than the previous two types.
-Dragoon: Elite Drathonians, dragoons are skilled in many types of combat. they are the smartest soldier-types. Thier diet and training has made them grow an extremely thick hide that is tough to penetrate.
-Spacy: Pilots of large drathonian ships, they are the near equals of their terran counterparts.
-Boomers: essentially living bombs, they attempt to sneak up to thier enemies and explode. they often attach themselves to the outsides of ships in large numbers to deal devastating damage. the explosion kills them. They are the largest drathonians.
-Moonies: Drathonian spies, they have the ability to cloak themselves and hide easily. they are the smallest drathonians.

Not really, more big ship versus big ship with fighter pilot stuff thrown in for those who wanna. then at a certain point, we have ship boardings and ground battles.
