Janja considered the names that Wahabu rattled off, wondering if she'd heard any of them before but finding that she had not. It didn't sound like it, but he hadn't heard Siku before either. Maybe they were wrong, or no one spoke about the other- it made more sense about why mother was so nervous about meeting them again.
Maybe they'd gone too far this time- but it had been an accident.
"Perhaps dad could enlighten us, I think we should go home," she said to Jedi, and then glancing at Wahabu apologetically, "I mean- our mother didn't want us to meet anyone without her. We'll probably see you again, Wahabu- it sounds like we are family." Janja was not one to ignore so many coinsidences, she was certain they would be related.
Habu nodded, he understood the need to go talk to someone about this. He himself was fighting the strong urge to go ask his grandmother about other family members, she would know, and be able to tell him why they didn't already know about each other.
"O-ok," he stammered, not quite sure what to say except that. It was so sudden that they appeared, and so sudden that they were just going to go off. Meeting him wasn't such a big mistake, was it? He'd have liked to get to know them better, but that would come in time. "I hope you come around more, then.."

Jedi was immediatly releaved that she said they could go, so much so that she almsot forgot to say goodbye. She started off towards where she knew the safety of daddy and mommy would be, but decided it was better to wait.
"Sorry, I'm just so excited to ask questions," she said unconvincingly, trying to hide her fears.
"We're of course going to meet again," she said feigning excitment, she hoped suddenly that if she was gonig to meet anyone that it would be someone more like her father, not these super smart freaks. Placing her bright blue eyes on Wahabu one last time she drifted and rested them on Janja, waiting for her 'go ahead.'

Janja was startled by Jedi's almost leaving without her, but smiled meekly at her. She turned back to Wahabu after Jedi's weak attempts to apologize, and offered her own apologetic smile.
"I'm so sorry," she apologized, "A- at least you got the message from your friend. I bet if you hurried, you could go find him- he shouldn't be too far from those trees yet." Janja looked back over to Jedi, and hurried up her farewell.
"We'll see you again," she said, and then turned to follow after Jedi, mumbling her amazement at what they'd found as soon as she caught up and started back on the way home.
Wahabu offered Jedi a weak smile, guessing that she wasn't quite as out-going as her sister. He was more convinced than ever, the more he looked at them, they were related- cousins most likely. They just seemed to fit in, in a rather weird way.
"Goodbye," he called after them, almost wanting to apologize for scaring them with the mention of Ekevu. He considered the option Janja had given him, going to see Kubwa- he could, but he wasn't sure he wanted to. He'd looked for so long and now, well.. now he could find him but it didn't seem like Kubwa wanted to find him. His other option was to go see Miamba or his father and ask about a Siku, but that was also iffy territory. For now, he opted to watch his cousins leave and wish he could recapture the peace he'd felt before their arrival.
