[Reality magic does not cost anything. However, REAL magic does. So...yes and no. If you try for reality and instead cast a spell, you'll probably be out of luck.]

Azreal focused hard, seeing his opportunity presented to him clearly. He tried the same trick he had earlier.... he located the wasp's nest in his mind's eye, willing it into the man's large stomach with great mental exertion.

Well, that's what he'd hoped to do, at least. As soon as he approached the fire, he was met by a rapidly closing ring of hunters...the hooded figures blocked his way...
Even though that plan failed, he could still try again, seeing as how Porky had really taken quite a fall just a minute ago.

Alrighty then. With his path blocked off by the armed men, Azreal tried a different tactic; he tore hood's own mace from his hands, bringing it in a full circle before slamming the weapon down onto the man's head. < >

[This kind of move is called IMPROVISE, a d20 roll ability. Improvise covers a wide range of out-of-the-box moves. Ingenuity combined with rolling is basically what it comes down to.]
