Nickname - Cas, Captain, 'Brother dear', 'YOU b*****d!' and other assorted insults, Dad.

Personality - Happy go lucky for the most part, Caspian is a cheerful fellow, ready with a smile, a laugh or a compliment. Sincere as the day is long, as long as you can take everything he says with a pinch of salt, as at the end of the day this fellow is a pirate through and though and is often not entirely as good as his work. This wasnt always the case, but times change. He is fickle and as changable as time, he doesn't stand for nonsens, and if things annoy him he tends to walk away from them as quickly as he can as he runs his life how he wants it, and not to the demands of another.

Personality - Serious for the most part he's a steady man and a good fighter if it comes to it. He's loyal, and keeps his word no matter what the cost to him, all in all he's fairly stable.. until he see's somthing small, then the whole world knows the trauma he's suffered.
Likes - Zubi, and Zubi being happy. Finding lost cities and treasures (and keeping them from Caspian), his family, being on the ship as opposed to being stuck in the jungle.

Fabien - The resigned Duke of Avery
Name - Fabien Aurelius

Personality - Fabien is a gentleman for the most part, he's defensive of his younger sister and will do anything he can to make sure that his sister's honour remains intact and will fight any number of unworthy suitors to keep them away from her. He is a thoughtful young man, and know plenty about his fathers standing, this has brought him less of an ego than some nobles as he is more willing to talk to people of a different rank to him as equals.
Likes - Friendly conversation, any free time he can find as being in charge of a duchy takes a lot of time. Conversation with anyone that he finds more stimulating than his younger sister, nights when In order to prevent stress from completely destroying him, he takes small sabbaticals with his closest friend. Whatever happens on those rum drunk nights, is never spoken of in public or in front of his friend's captain.

Closest friend -Raguel, without a doubt. (Bya) Fabien can't really stand the company of most nobles, but finds this unscrupulous pirate to be the best of company, and the best of friend. His sister is one of the only other people he is close to.
A Story of great Woe..
He was young, still very young indeed by seelie standards when he lost his mother, he was walking through the corridors of their family house late in the night having woken for little reason and acting on the notion of needing a drink, he had heard some noises from his mothers chambers, his father had gone away only two nights previously and as far as he had known his mother, a beautiful woman with fiery red hair that was also possessed by his younger sister, had been alone, but the strangled cry he heard suggested other wise. Worried, he forced the door to her room open and saw his mother collapsed on the floor, her breathing strained, her limbs seemingly failing her, he moved to her side, her eyes were wide and she barely responded at all to his presence... she was dying.
Across the room though some movement caught his eye, a figure shifted towards the door and he reacted instinctively, he set his mother down and ran after the figure, he shouted as he ran, "Murder! He's killed my mother! Catch him! Murderer!" he saw the figure rush into a side room and slam the door, it took a little while to get in, their guards arrived and the door was broken down, the figure who had killed his mother lay sprawled on the floor, his dark purple eyes vacant, his purple hair sprawled around him, his face locked in the grimace of death. He had swallowed a small pill that had easily ended his life before he could be caught and questioned.. but there was no secret to his identity really.. he was an unseelie assassin, send to end the life of one of the most meddlesome Seelie alliance supporters.
With his fathers return it had been hoped that things would be easier, that his father would take over the duchy and things would carry on, but Caspian would not stay, he was broken for a time over the death of his beloved wife and the resemblance at least his daughter had gave him great pain, so he fled their house in the middle of the night leaving only a note of appology to his children, and a promise that he would return.
After that Fabien took over where his mother and father had left off. He ran the Duchy, but he did not on any level pursue the Seelie alliance, he knew his mother would have wanted it, but he couldn't... he hated them for what they had done to his family. They drove his father away, the took his mothers life and the forced him to grow up. His sister, he made sure she suffered as little as she could, he had the daughter of one of his mothers friends brought to the house to stay with them, a friend for Angelle to help her to feel less lonely with the loss of her mother, but there was little else he could do for his sister, and nothing for himself.
He was busy from there on, he had friends at court, but he didn't trust a single one of them, they knew he was young, they thought him impressionable, he soon learnt by trial and error which advisers could be trusted, and which would steal from him as soon as his back was turned. He lived a very lonely life really, never really trusting anyone into his confidence.. barely seeing his father and more often than not spending weeks alone at a time.
That was how it went, he was the Duke of Avery now, and that was more or less all he had time for.
Its lonely being in any position of power of course. You deal with people who suck up to you for your money and little else, who tell you what you want to know, who'd stab you in the back as easily as they'd shake your hand... that's why its rare to find a friend who you can actually believe in, you can trust their word even if they are the most unlikely person really to have such trust laid on them...
Even worse though is when you realise you care for them, not so bad you'd think.. only you know that there isn't a snowflakes chance in hell that you're the one they'd chose to stay by their side.
Its a defeating feeling, even when you're with them, closer than friends for a night here and there.. you know that you're always taking more from the encounter than they are... you don't regret it, but it mar's the encounter.
Fabien felt like that now, caring for someone who is entirely uninterested in his heart, not in the cold sense... just in the friends sense.
Its terrible when you can't even be mad at anyone but yourself for these kind of situations.
Its terrible when you know that each time they ask if you're okay, you'll lie... if they ask if you're wanting more, you'll lie.
Its terrible knowing no matter how much you'd give up to have them love you, they won't...
All in all.. it was just a terrible place to have landed himself, but despite all the terrible things, he still couldn't bring himself to regret a moment of it.
Sometimes though... life can really surprise you... <3

Personality - A little aloof for the most part she will warm to people almost at once if they can catch her attention, and she has alittle bit of a liking for the dramatic, characters from the novals she is so fond of reading, both romantic and gothic.

The other side~
Angelle was distraught when her mother was taken from her, but she, younger by some significant amount than her brother understood it less, and had seen almost nothing of what had happened.
She was sad for a number of years, but gradually she began to lose herself in a world of books, fantasy and adventure. Strong heroines, fainting maidens she thought them all wonderful.
Angelle and Genevieve were happy together, each others closest confidants, different, yes, but still close.
She often felt ignored by her older brother, but as she grew she was forced to realise that things that seemed wrong to her were not as much a fault of his as he thought they were.
All in all the death of her mother and the absence of her father made her sillier than she probably would have been otherwise, a fanciful mind hidden behind a serious face that was used to try and protect herself from the people her brother and friend warned her would try to take advantage of her position.

Age - Who knows? As far as it goes his people have been put under some witch doctor style enchantment and will live as long as they are remembered.

Personality - Its pretty much universally agreed that El Rey is mad. He is loud, friendly and very likeable if you can get past the fact he is a lot more outgoing than really suits a monarch. He is easily distracted and doesn't usually play up to his high rank very well. He likes the ladies it has to be said and very much enjoys spending time in their company. Once there were two souls, they didn't know each other, they had never met. One was good, the other bad, one black, one white. One was Cerwin, one was Sable.
Caerwin was friendly, light, filled with joy. He loved his friends, he adored his family and at one time there had been someone that had made his heart sing above all others, he had been fully intending to marry his beloved when the unthinkable happened.
Caerwin died.
He was struck with a dagger by someone, no one knew who did it though.
This wasn't the end though, this was not his time at all and he was saved.. at the same time that Sable was dragged back from a similar fate, he was pulled back to life by the black hand of a demon. His pure heart and soul were tainted by the creatures greed and hatred of all that was good and pleasnt, a black spot in the spirit of yang.
The demon took from him as payment the one thing he had never wanted to give, his love... not his beloved, no indeed, they lived on, but the emotion. Caerwin could no longer feel his hear sing, his beloved, his friends his family.. all were indifferent to him now. He still felt for them, true.. but love? It was impossible.

Sable had never been a good person, she was angery, violent she killed without reasonor remorse, and one day she paid for her crimes, she was hung by the neck until she died, but the timing was wrong. She should not have died.
She too was saved, as Caerwin had been, but the hand that grabbed hers and brought her back from the brink was the wrong one as well... the hand of an angel gave her back her life and also a gift which she did not want, he healed her soul, her conscience, he morals, her ability to love were gifted back to her, he saved her life and her soul as well.
She hated him for this, her life brought her nothing but guilt now even if she didn't want to feel it. The white spot in her black heart was more than she could bear a lot of the time.
This second mistake left them both miserable.

Age - She's not really sure to be honest. She doesn't even know what race she is, she's just a witch.

Personality - For a black witch Ornella is shockingly nice, she's also rather quiet, and very gentle. She's much more a fan of white magic, but this tends to upset her black magic, which usually turns anything she is trying to make better back on herself, after healing a burn she was boiling hot for weeks, hence when Grenth met her she was mostly naked.
