The red lioness snorted at the thought of Baala getting fat and lazy if she stayed here. She doubted it, but part of her realized it was a possibility. The Pridelands weren't really a place one was forced to be in shape. As long as you could hunt, you were fine, and even then, they fed invalid members with left over meat from hunts.

Kiuma eyed the dark adolescent as she stepped forward, almost assessing her strength and sincerity. She did feel bad about uprooting her so soon, when the whole purpose had been to bring and leave her here. But still... she found herself rather glad for the company. "Yes, I said my good-byes already, so I'm fine. We should make the border, and maybe some distance beyond, by night fall. Make sure to tell me if you feel yourself getting tired, hungry, or thirsty, and we'll stop. Its better to take care of those needs early, than wait."

She stepped out at a brisk pace, even before she finished talking. She had all but been twitching with the need to move, and the moment they started, she fell into it with ease, relaxing and stretching out in a swinging stride. It was... good to be moving again.
