Leboya watched as the father of the MOB was tackled by the lot, smiling a bit, before slowly standing up to go fix another problem that seemed more urgent, trodding over to where their eldest, and strangely the most immature, of the litter was hiding.

"You don't want to go swimming with your siblings?" she inquired, nudging the sniffling child a bit.

"They're all jerks, why would I?" she sniffled, moving one of her paws to peer at her mother with a pouting expression. She hadn't even wanted to go -play- with them and had been forced to..

Why couldn't they have just had -one-?! Y'know.. -her- and just thrown the rest of them in a ditch?

"Wrong answer, Martirae." she replied, lifting the small cub up by the scruff of her neck and carrying her over to plop her on top of Banji as well. "Hope you don't mind one more, -dear-~" She had to emphasize the 'dear', due to the fact that it wasn't really a... 'planned' relationship, and that she needed to make sure that her children didn't think her and Banji -hated- each other. God forbid.

"EEEEEK!"

Marty flailed her little paws as she landed on the mass of fluff formally called Daddy and informally called Dee-da, nearly toppling off of him and onto Lesedi.

"BUT BUT BUT!" she protested, before looking at the other siblings pleading for swimming and crawling to go hide from them in their father's mane. "CanIjuststayhereandnap, Dee-da?"

Kashi was a little grumpy that she was left behind, but she didn't mind too much. Instead, she swallowed up her comments that she wanted to say and ran up to the rest of them, trying to tackle her father as best she could. She wasn't too strong of a cub, though, and mainly just thudded straight into his side.

"Woah..." she commented, a bit dizzy from her collision. She stumbled around a bit, tripping to land on her side before shaking off the rest of her mental 'injuries'. She blinked and looked up at her father, all smiles, hoping that he indeed would take them to a nice place to swim.

"Let's gooooo!" she echoed, mimicing her sibilings, excited for the chance to go somewhere. Besides, he had to take good care of his kids, right? And swimming would do that! Maybe even Mom would come with them, though when she noticed her and Marty together, she got a twine of jealousy. Maybe not, maybe Mom would selfishly keep Marty with herself.

Banji had barely gotten the memory back he did in fact have children of his own now, and remembered where he was, when one of his daughters was using the eyes. It didn't help she looked so much like his sister. Who had also been able to use the eyes.

"Uh, well--" And then Leboya was calling him 'dear'--but not in a very dearful way--and he gulped. Quite honestly, he was concerned she might kill him in his sleep. "W-Well."

Gathering his courage (which took a lot, because, s**t, Leboya was really scary you know?), he got in a more dignified stance and puffed up some. "Alright, we'll go swimming. You can take a nap there, Marty."

"Oh ya... a-ah, wonderful! Let's hurry, then, Father!" It was a close call, but Lesedi caught her childish lapse in time, hurriedly forming a more "dignified" and "grownup" response to the good news. After all, was was far more mature than her siblings and therefore had an obligation to show it!

Deciding it best to go a step further and make sure her spot as 'leader' had been solidified, the little white cub puffed out her chest and lifted her tail like a proud snowy flag, promptly turning to trot off...

... If only she had known the right direction to go, then everything would have been perfect! Well, no matter-- so long as she remained confident, her brothers and sisters would never know the difference, right?

Or so she kept telling herself.

Marty waited a moment to see if their mother moved to go with them, pouting a bit when the purple lioness remained firmly planted with the most -innocent- expression she'd ever seen (Hell, mommy was better at making 'the face' than -any- of the guppies were), signaling that she would -not- be going with them.

That left poor little her with her father (who really didn't seem to care, in her opinion) and her siblings (the buttmunches..).

"Can't I sleep heeeeeeerrrree?" she pleaded, eying her sibling warily, before shuffling to make sure there was at least a Banji-sized space (and blockade) between herself and the other cubs, sticking her tongue out at them with a 'harrumph', before watching Lesedi as she started to trot off.

Hmph.

"Geeze, -stupid-. You're going the wrong -way-!" Marty pointed out, jabbing a paw in the other cub's general direction.

"-MARTIRAE-. We don't use that word." Leboya stated firmly, causing the cub to 'eep' a bit at her mother's 'iron fist' of manners, before she added, looking to Lesedi, "That direction is just find, sweetie."

Kashi was a bit taken aback at just how rowdy everyone was getting. She kept near her father, moreso for protection from her other sibilings then trying to kiss up to him. She wasn't scared or anything, no! She just...had to have all her bases covered. Yeah. Yeah, that sounded good.

Her ears perked up when she heard her mother scolding Marty, though, and took an immediate interested. And butted her way in quite nicely, if she did say so herself.

"Maaarty. Aren't you cooooming?" she whined, trying to mimic her sister that always seemed to get her way out of aaanything. Kashi wasn't going to let her go that easily, no way! She had to be miserable with the rest of them, if only until they got to the watering hole to swim.

It took Banji a minute to realize his lightest daughter actually was intentionally going that way. He nodded when Marty pointed out it was the wrong one. "Yes, that's--"

Hearing Leboya, he changed his tone fast. Smooth. "--a fine direction to go. It's good to take the long way. Exercise and all."

Mtembei raised an eyebrow at his father, but brushed it off and began following the self-appointed 'leader'. He didn't care if she wanted that title. It was the big ones who were in charge at the end of the day, not any of them, and he was just fine with that if it meant he was going to get fed and not be eaten himself.

Stupid?! How dare Lesedi's lesser sibling call her such a thing! The nerve of her sister was just unbelievable-- but no matter. Mother Dearest had already delivered the proper scoldng and Marty wasn't the leader, so all was well in the world of a certain high-stepping cub.

Feeling more confident (and cocky) now, she picked up her pace a little, trotting over the dry grass and scrub like some blinding white show pony. Look like you know where you're going. That was the name of the game and, from the look of her puffed stance and high, swishing tail, there wasn't a doubt to be had with her sense of direction.

"The swimming water might be busy with other four legged things," she commented, as though trying to make some idle gossip to entertain her 'followers', "... but Father and me can chase them off!"

Suuuure she could.

But... at least they're get there eventually... in a somewhat roundabout way, maybe?

Marty looked like she was forcing herself to be ALIVE as she sauntered along-side her father, seething internally, before looking to Kashi and crinkling her nose a bit. "Don't I -LOOK- like I'm coming?" she rolled her eyes a bit, before looking up at her father, suspicious of how quickly he'd changed his tune.

"Are you sure?" she inquired, making a bit of a face, before looking to Mtembei, who seemed to be taking the entire 'Lesedi's the leader' thing in perfect stride, rolling her eyes a bit. "Can't believe you people put up with this!"

Well, she put up with it too. Freakin' Cub-PMS. Definitely not taking in the pawprints of her parents, if she said so. Mommy was too sweet and motherly, Daddy was.... a pushover.

Marty wasn't going to be a pushover.

She rolled her eyes a bit before leaving the side of Banji and padding up behind Lesedi, pawing at her tail. "This is the wrong way! Don't you know your directions! If we want to get there -sooner- we need to go the -OTHER- way!" she stated, puffing up her little chest to assert her dominance as the eldest sibling.

As long as the other three put her back in her place though...

Kashi hissed at her family as they all seemed to trip all over each other. What the heck? She glared at them all, though it was evident that none of them were paying attention to anyone but themselves. So selfish!

"I don't think any of you know where you're going," she shouted, plopping her butt down right where she was. She haaad followed them for a little bit, but all the bickering was really starting to get to her, and all she wanted to do was swim. And swim now!

"Daaaad, let's get there faster, isn't there a quicker way?" Kashi whined to her father, hoping that he would suck it up, tell them what to do, and lead them to the watering hole. Not likely, but she just wanted to swim! By the time they sorted all this out, it would be dark and Mom would call them back in, before she even had a chance to cool herself off!

Banji said nothing in response to the 'leader' of group. There hadn't ever been any fights that broke out at the watering hole he had seen, and he wasn't about to tell his daughters and son he'd never been in a fight with another lion and would most definiatly get the s**t kicked out of him if he ever was.

Besides, violence is not the answer, children.

Mtembei was, as Marty came to conclude, 'taking it in stride'. If she wanted to stomp around, make herself look like a moron and act the 'leader', that was just fine with him. He had no desire to be leader. Too much responsibility, and he sure as hell didn't want that. Not even in games.

Banji stopped, too, turing to Kashi and sighing heavily. What a mess. Why had there been so many of them? He trotted over to the lightest of his daughters and scooped her up by the scruff of the neck, tossing her onto his back next to Mtembei who had grown tired of walking and settled there, too.

"Alright, alright. This way." He turned and began walking the other direction.

Hopefully, his daughters (slightly too high) pride wouldn't be bruised.

"... Wrong way? Wrong way?" If ever there was a surefire method to ruffling the palest cub's feathers, it was doubting her... and she spun aroud in an instant to bare her tiny fangs right in Martirae's face. Akasha might have been agreeing with the challender, sure-- but Lesedi knew that was just a simpering accomplice, and therefore not worth bothering over. No, there was just one sibling in the bunch who posed a real threat!

"And how would you know which way is right and wrong, Marty?!" she went on, bristling haughtily. "You've been too caught up in whimpering and crying to know why way we shoud--eep!!!"

But it was too late; Banji had already plucked her off the ground and she was flailing hopelessly in the air... only to find herself plunked down across his broad back a moment later in the spot next to Mtembei.

No... no, this just couldn't be happening! There was absolutely no possible way that she could be wrong!... right?

... And yet, strandely, Lesedi Tau spoke not another word of protest, staring down, blank faced, at some oddly shaped stripe on Father's back like it was something interesting.
