"No magicks?"
Storm was flabbergasted. Why in the name of the nine hells would someone choose that?
"Why in the name of the nine hells would you choose that?"
She bowed her head in greetings to Kibo.
"Who's in the gun, now?"
Sometimes during Kibo's and Sorin's conversation, she's waltzed aboard. Literally, waltzed. Of course, she found it always helped to dance with some music but being followed around by a pack of rabid minstrels just wasn't in the cards for her, much to her sorrow. Well, mostly to it. Her head wasn't complaining about the lack of it, much.

Kibo unholsters the pistol, spinning it on his finger.
Kibo: An old friend of mine. He was always a big prankster.
He pulls the trigger, but instead of a loud explosion, the unmistakable sputtering of a flatus filled the air.
Kibo: See what I mean?
((Flatus is such a fun word to say...))

"Bummer. What if you actually needed to use the gun?"

He points to a small hole in the wall 20 feet away.
Kibo: I never said it didn't fire. The explosion just makes a different sound.

"What an embarresing way to die. You hear a..well, you know, and you think it is safe to pop your head up only to be capped. Just think of the stories the dead will tell each other!"

Storm bowed low, at her waist, one long-sleeved arm swept under her. Amazingly, her single, tight white braid hadn't moved from it's postion on her back.
"Storm Ronyo, at your services. I serve, well served as a captain for Kibo here."
She strightened, shooting Kibo a look.
"For now, we are merely good chums."

Kibo crosses his arms.
Kibo: The shadow? Is that a ship? Not very imaginative in naming...

Storm whacked his arm.
"Be nice, mister Kibo. The poor female vampier survived a shipwreck of a notouriously unlucky name. The least you can do is not show the contempt until they are part of the crew."

Kibo hits her back, but more lightly.
Kibo: She's already enlisted in a different crew. I can be as contemptible as I wish.

"Oh. Well carry on then."
Storm eyed their third companion.
"What do you do then?"

Sorin eyed the three, an eyebrow arched. "What the hell?" he muttered under his breath. "Why the devil would I be needin' magic, lass? I'm a pirate, not a sorcerer. I pillage and plunder the seas for the simple enjoyment of it. Not much to it. Now, why are ye two on me ship?"

"I can't speak for Kibo, but I am here to find a dance partner, actually."
Storm jerked her thumb at Kibo and whispered loudly.
"He's all left feet and thumbs."

Kibo steps behind Storm, putting his arms around her waist from behind.
Kibo: It's just that I prefer something more... physical than a waltz.
He spins to her side, looking at Sorin again.
Kibo: I was here to ask you to join my fleet, but you've declined, so I'm just hanging around cuz I feel like it. And trust me, Sorin. Magic's much more common than you think in these waters. If you're not careful, you'll find your body turned inside out. Quite literally.

"I do enjoy doing that..."
Storm nodded knowingly. Of course, not differenting between which "that" she meant meant, be it "dancing" or turning someone inside out was making it just a tad bit harder to think.
