J_walker_anonymous that picture is a fake he did it one a photo editor if you look closely you can see some of the facal features are not the same, like for instence Billie Joe is Square(and not square as in he is a goodie good because he is obvesly not that), Tre is square and mike is boney. Billie Joes head is Square and in this picture his face is round and hair line is that of a 40 year old. THat and Sid from Sexpistols had a wife, even though he hated her abused her and wanted her dead he still had a wife...

that's obviously a person trying to prove how smart or rebelious they are by crushing anything or anyone popular under their toe with well thought out words.
in reality it makes them look like even more of a moron, mainly because the thread he made was pointless. "hey, let's make me look smart!"

I didn't see the guy making that post working hard in the kind of job that mainly relies on the pressuresome and often cruel beliefs of society, and even at that, Billie Joe (and the rest of Green Day) have worked hard in that kind of situation, NOT listening to the majority and they've survived thus far. The jerk making that post probably wouldn't last two day- hell, two minutes- without having a mental breakdown. Thank you very much!

Pretty Green Eyes If no-one's noticed, there is actually an 'Anti-Green Day' website out there. It's really poorly thought out...Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but feel free to shoot them down because of it.

Am not gonna bother posting, you can't really get through to some people. yeah i know that trust me confused I was in the official punk thread in the independent music subforum, and i swear those people deny green day as even being punk. they hate them simply because they are signed on a big label. i tried to convice them that green day was the most punk band i've ever listened to, but i was only called a moron and was flamed. rolleyes boy what a fight that was. you just cant talk to those people.

They may be punk themselves, but not the stereotypical punk. They're their own punk. But the music is NOT punk. It started off POP-punk, and moved onto pop-rock. They were never PUNK. In music, anyway. They have punk influence, and some aspects of punk, but...the music is not punk. I'm not talking about the people. So if they're the most punk you've listened to...erm...look for punk bands? sweatdrop
