Batou then grabbed the second knuckle from in the kiln and also submerged it beneath the water in the tub. And like before he cocked his head backwards to avoid the steam. And when the steam was gone he set the steel on his work table. And returned his attention back to the knuckle on the anvil. He used two clamps to hold the steel to the anvil and grabbed his hammer and a special punching tool to make finger holes.

He positioned the tool and punched each finger hole with a careful eye. After wards he took the coin sized circles that he punched out from the knuckle and tossed them into a box under his table. He did the same to the other knuckle and then smoothed the edges of the holes so that Wrath wouldn't cut himself while using them. And when he was finished he took both pieces of metal and placed them on a rack and then dunked the rack into a small tub of mysterious liquid.

After placing the rack along with the two pieces of metal in the mysterious liquid he walked over to the other side of his hut and sat in a chair and waited. Batou fell asleep after a few minutes had passed and upon awakening he got up and walked over to the small tub and removed the rack from the liquid. He then placed the rack on two short rod over the tub to let both pieces of metal to dry.

Batou had left the hut to go inside the temple and get something to eat while the steel dried. He had a small bowl of rice with fish. Once he finished he cleaned up his mess and went back to the hut to see if the metal had dried yet. He walked back in and put his apron and gloves back on then look at the steel in the rack. However they hadn't completely dried yet so he sat back down in his chair.

After around another half an hour of waiting, the knuckles were finally dry. Batou took both of them from the rack and hammered them one at a time on the anvil to be sure that they were straight. And when he finished one he would set it on his table and work on the other.

Batou had finally finished the knuckles and now all he need to do was sharpen them. He looked for his wet stone after placing both knuckles on the table along side a tray and a bucket of water. He couldn't find his wet stone to save his life and he couldn't remember where he left it. He looked under the table, all over the table, and all around his anvil. But it wasn't there.

When Batou looked under the tub he saw a medium sized object that he couldn't make out. But when his eyes came into focus on it he realized it was his wet stone! He rose to his feet and grabbed a nearby poll and slide it under the tub and pushed the wet stone out from beneath it. He left the poll where it was and grabbed the stone, placed it on the tray, and poured water on the stone.

Batou carefully sharpened each edge and corner of the blades of the knuckles. He took his time to be sure that they were done correctly and well. However sharpening the blades didn't take very long because it was actually an easy process. When Batou had completely finished crafting the knuckles he closely examined them, looking for any flaws, and then placed them in one of his pockets for Wrath.

Later that evening Wrath returned to the temple like his uncle told him to. He wandered out back to Batou's hut and walked in. "Did you finish?" Wrath asked him and Batou replied with a nod handing both knuckles to Wrath. Wrath thanked his uncle and quickly left because he wasn't sure if his uncle would start his mind tricks.

Wrath was now at the lakes edge and gazing at his clan's temple. But he only starred for a moment before turning around to look at Elruda. "And here is where the next part of your training begins. And I expect you to never show anyone or tell anyone the location of this place. Is that understood?" He informed and then demanding an answer.

"Hai. You can count on me, sensei." Elruda nodded, determination in her eyes. If there was one thing she was really good at, it was secret keeping because of her isolation from others and for her sensei to trust her with this, it was a great honor.

Wrath nodded with an assuring smile then picked the girl with one arm, lugging her over his right shoulder, and walked across the lake. Every few seconds a crocodile would swim up to him and try to attack but he would always smack them across the lake. Finally when he reached the island in the center of the lake, where the temple sat, he set Elruda down on the ground and walked into the temple. He lead her to a small library located in the east wing which was filled with books. "Find a few books and go ahead and read." Wrath told her.

Read- Find a book and read it.

After telling Eluda her next task he decided to join her. Even after all the time he had know that this library was here he had only entered the room once and even then he didn't read a single book. While he was here he might as well be productive about it so he plucked a book from a shelf and began to read. It was a book of life science, Which Wrath found somewhat interesting so he continued on.

Wrath continued to read about the human circulatory system which in fact seemed very complicated. He found some of it difficult since he could think of anything to relate it to except the chakra circulatory system. The pages soon lead him on to the nervous system which was much like the other two systems. However this one seemed to be more of interest to him since most all of his taijutsu caused tremendous amounts of pain and torture to his enemies.

It rather unnerved Elruda as Wrath dragged her for side-along water walk across the alligator manifested lake. She was quite impressed; as the older shinobi smacked an alligator clean across its face, sending it flying halfway across the river. It would appear that her new sensei was the Taijutsu master of this village. But why was he doing taking such a boring job as watching the village gates? Elruda briefly wondered as they stopped at an island that laid at the center.

With that, Wrath had ordered her to go and find books to read. Not that she could escape across an alligator manifested lake anyways... She mused. Her Juuken was pitiful and would not be of much use against the beasts. But not that she was planning on escaping. Her interest was almost immediately caught by the wide variety of books.

Completely forgetting aobut her injuries for the day, she rushed over to the nearest shelf and browsed over the titles. There were a wide variety; on ninjutsu, genjutsu, taijutsu, fuuinjutsu, the major and minor villages, famous peoples, basic books on chakra, how to control chakra and such. She couldn't decide what to read first so she decided to take what she would like from the first shelf and read first before continuing to the next.

With that, she took a book on Amegakure from the shelf, and after memorizing the exact place on the shelf (so Wrath wouldn't be angry at her for messing up his library later). And so, she began to read.

((Have Chorus tomorrow at 7:40 and have to wake up around an hour early. Gtg to bed. ^_^ Will definitely finish the assignment tomorrow. <3)
