Katahari ran though the fields, chasing her cat, who was trying to catch and kill a baby bird. "No! Get back here Shadow! Leave that poor, defenseless bird alone! Go get an adult bird. At least it'll be able to put up a fight!" she said. Shadow looked back at her and meowed loudly. She pointed back the way they had come. He seemed to sigh, and the two headed back to the building. The baby bird tweeted in relief. It was the second time that day that the Goddess had saved it. Once back inside, Hari walked lazily down the hall to her room. She was growing restless here, and wanted to go somewhere. But she wasn't sure what to do. She passed a room with the door halfway open; a young God was standing there, talking to a Goddess, one whom Hari hadn't seen before. She decided to meet these two. "Hey." she said to neither in particular.

[Ooc: Welcome, Katahari.] "Ah, Death and Sickness... Come in then, the door is unlocked." Vertigo suddenly noticed a dark figure walking towards her. She smiled, bending down to scratch his ears. "Hello, Ares.", she hispered, causing the large panther to purr happily. He was old and wise, though she sometimes had trouble understanding him.

Ayron opened the door the bird on his shoulder twittering happily. "Yes, yes Marietta you get to see a new room." He said softly to his bird. "Hello War!" Ayron said brightly. "And hello to you too Beauty and Nature!" He didn't like to have to learn their real names so he called them by their titles. You really should learn their names! Ehn! Skip their names!Kill then all let dad sort it out! "All of you shut up! For once in my life time!" Ayron shouted.

"Oh? Is something wrong?", Vertigo questioned, looking at Ayron curiously. Ares looked at the bird curiously, then gave a welcoming purr. "Also, my name is Vertigo." She glanced at the panther, examining his markings again. They seemed to have changed again, meaning he was happy. Ah, enchanted pets, weren't they just lovely? Ares growled at her and tried to bite one of Vertigo's wings, trying to tell her that he was hungry. Sighing slightly, she motioned for him to go to the kitchen. 'And they say that panthers are ideal pets to have. They lied.'

"Oh it's nothing!" Ayron said sheepishly. "It is just these chatterboxes up here!" Ayron said tapping his head. That was where the voices came from when he wasn't in his room.

'He hears voices... Not a normal trait... It matters not, I guess.' She could care less if he was a psychotic murderer, he was the god of death after all. Vertigo was the godess of War, she could do a lot worse than voices. Most of the time, she would watch the battles. Still... Finally remembering her manners, she invited him to sit down, gesturing to a chair. That was the moment Ares entered, winding around Ayron's ankles.

Ayron sat down hushing Marietta. She was going wild because of the panther. "Hush, Hush the kitty won't get you!" Ayron said calmingly to his bird. "I am sorry about her." He said to Vertigo.

"It's alright. Ares frightened me when I first met him, I'd expect him to frighten her." She looked at Ares gently, and he purred, looking at Marietta with the I'm- not- gonna- hurt- you- I- only- eat- cooked- meat look. Vertigo didn't know what he was doing, but he wasn't in an attack ready stance, so it was quite alright.

Marietta saw his look and noticed the change in his feelings and took that as a sign to calm down. "Yeah, Miss Bird-Brains over here is very skittish." Ayron said chuckling at Marietta's reaction. She had puffed up her feathers in an indignant manner that befitted a prissy old lady better than a bird.

Katahari smiled. These two seem to be getting along well. she thought. She scanned her memories, and finally remembered who they were, or at least their titles. That Goddess is the Goddess of War, and that God is the God of Death. she thought absently. She then noticed that the God had referred to her, at least by her title. She smiled at him. She looked at Shadow, who was now tentatively going over to his much larger cousin and sniffing at his paws.

Ares suddenly picked up Shadow in his mouth and disappeared somewhere. "Ares! No!" Vertigo called to him, sending crimson tendrils to chase after her fleeing panther. After a while, he returned of his own accord, still holding Shadow. The godess sighed, wondering how much longer her sanity would remain intact.

Much to Katahari's surprise, Shadow was enjoying being carried immensely. He didn't even struggle, like he did when she tried to carry him somewhere he didn't want to go. He lay limp, the only sign that he was even alive was his loud purring.

"That is so cute!" Ayron said brightly. "It is just like a mother cat and her kitten!"

"Yes, but the only problem is that Ares is a boy... Still, he is a bit protective." Vertigo watched the panther put Shadow down and nudge him with his paw. They were off again, probably to the kitchens. "I wonder sometimes..." What she wondered, no one was going to find out as an anguished scream rang out from a small chrystal ball floating above her dresser. A battle had begun, and Vertigo knew she had to stop it.

"Sounds like your job is calling you, so I won't keep you any longer." Ayron said politely smiling. He stood up and left her room. He decided to check his mirror, to see if anyone was dying at this point of time. He was relived to see that there wasn't anyone yet, but whenever the Goddess of War goes to battle it isn't long.
