Let's go for some history then July 28th 1755: The British king sent his army in Nova Scotia to kick our ancestors out of there. A lot died (the Acadians, not the soldiers), but those who survived went principally to France, Louisiana, New-Brunswick, somewhere else in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island & Quebec. 1881: A huge Acadien convention took place in Memramcook, NB, to decide some things about the Acadians, such as their flag (in my sig), their anthem, and their official day (which is August 15th, don't even ask me why) I feel like a "no one cares" is coming now...
