"Our pack is fairly small at the moment because of our last civil war. We have several males, however only three females," Irons said, as though he had read Loir's mind, "One of them is our Shaman, Szalka. You said you hoped to be a priest, did you not? If so, you will be studying under her." Irons finished simply, continuing on as though he hadn't said anything.
His mind was more-or-less on having the nice new bear skin for his den, and the usefulness of having a priest who could assist Szalka in appeasing the spirits in their boneyard. Loir had proved to be a powerful warrior, and now Irons hoped that he would prove to have some promising spiritual powers as well.

Loir's ears fell a bit hearing they had so few females. He would not dare fiddle around with Szalka if she was going to be teaching him the secretes of being a priest and training him but he had a feeling he would end up flirting with her even if he did not mean to. It was just the manner of which he was. That was fine though, it would keep his head cool with such a low supply of the females. Maybe they would be so beautiful it would make up for the lack there of being.
He continued to follow still feeling eyes pressed into his back as he went on. He could tell that Irons was pleased with his kill. This made the wolf happy.
