Igny was actually growing quite accustomed to fighting these creatures. Part of her was quite hurt that she'd become so ruthless.
The other part of her wanted to protect her friends.
So she threw her beach ball of a weapon at the creature with a little "humph!"

By now Kirki was definitely finding these things to be less creepy. They were kind of just annoying at this point. As he heard a girl yell out he ran in the direction of his voice and wasted no time kicking the thing in it's face. He grimaced and reach out to steady her. "Yeah, absolutely," he nodded, giving her an encouraging smile. Before the creature could get close enough to strike her again Rikki spun and slammed his fist into it, gritting his teeth against the way it stung his knuckles. Igny let out a sigh of relief. What a kind soul. It was good to see that kindness remained in a kingdom so dark and wrought with monsters.
