There are too many characters in the series for them to use TWO TOADS out of 4 possible characters.

Wario could work because he was in SM64x4! Granted it would be weird if he had the same attributes, I still think it would have been cool if they had different attributes and you could pick. Then again, people might fight over who got Luigi.

It actually looks a lot better than I thought it would.

DK probably wouldn't work too well because he would obviously need different attributes. He would get to punch people but not jump very high, and that would cause some trouble in some parts.
Peach gets kidnapped.
Yoshi is ridable.
Waluigi could even work, as dumb as he is.
