Not sure. But Konoha had always been rather a freakshow case of prodigies, hunh? =d If other villages get them once three decades, Konoha would be getting them every decade. Naruto's generation especially. Sakura, Shikamori, Konohamaru, Neji, Sasuke, Naruto himself...all kids with great potential of replacing the older Sannin generation.

I... just don't like Sakura. <.< I ADMIT IT. If Ino was given the same tutelage as her she would be so much better. I mean Sakura's strength basically comes from her bitchiness right? ~Inner Sakura~ Ino is 100x times more bitchy than Sakura. ADMIT IT!!!!! Instead Ino is just playing second fiddle to Sakura's Leo DiCaprio act. Sakura made all the right choices. Ino... just didn't make any scream Except that half assed "I'll follow in Sakura's footsteps and stay in her shadow" medic-nin vow. {Okay.. it was because of the death of her mentor... BUT STILL!} Ino could've been an awesome kunoichi who charmed you by daylight and stabbed you after sleeping with you. Damn you Kishimoto!!! [/ino rant]

Am I...one of the few rare people who never disliked Sakura? o___o But then again, in DGM, I was also one of the few who doesn't dislike Lenalee... I just thought their reactions was the most - human - out of all the characters. o_O Ino, on the other hand, I am highly irritated with...wtf, crying over Sasuke after he's conspiring with Akatsuki to destroy your home and everything you love...? At least Sakura had the guts to decide to try and kill that b*****d.
And Naruto. Naruto too. A friend who shoves a Chidori (or attempts to) through your heart is NOT a friend... *smacks Naruto* Goodness! Even his mother tells him to avoid that kind of "friend"...
Overall, I think Tsunade knew perfectly well what she was doing. I can't imagine Ino fitting well in Tsunade's footsteps at all. Sakura, on the other hand...is a natural fit...? And the Sannins did pick the students that best reflected themselves.
Sakura -> her character was echoed later in Kushina too (Narusaku for the future?)
And Ino's attempt to charm Neji Hyuuga in their famous Chuunin Exams didn't quite work. xDD

Yeah... Ino kinda went downhill after the time skip...
I know right... I've been wanting Naruto to give up on Sasuke already ever since... I dunno... battle of the valley of the end? XD I suppose without the Sasuke chase there wouldn't be much story though.
C'mon, Neji is just asexual <.< xd

If Konoha ever forgives Sasuke without a damned good reason-... *eyebrow twitches* HATESASUKE HATE HATE HATE HATE. I hope Edo Tensei Itachi tells Sasuke "I'm soooo disappointed in you".
Hey. Neji so does care. He was worried a lot about Hinata when she got hurt by Pain. But you gotta admit, that WAS pretty funny. :3

I don't remember that part at all!!! So uh... could you tell me about it? XD Was it int he manga or anime?
And uh.. I heard that the hyuuga abolished the main branch thing. I don't even know what chapter that was in if it actually happened.
I know right. Sasuke better pull a "I killed all the Akatsuki and Madara, o hai". Notihng less than that XD

I'm not sure if the pain arc is out in the anime yet. I haven't been following... :c But as for Neji tending to Hinata, that was right after...they spotted that she was struck down by Pain. That's the first time you really see Neji in a panic (yelling for a medic-nin to be brought there quickly).
Ummmn...mommy? Are you sure it wasn't my clan history that said that? xd In that case, it isn't canon. :c
Even if he did...I mean, Sasuke just TRIED TO KILL THE FUTURE HOKAGE... Many times. *kicks Sasuke* >_>

:O Is Neji Hinata's bodyguard??? OMG. They need to write more about the Hyuugas. Seriously. Just make a side arc all about them already. There's too much developing of Naruto's character and neglecting of.. pretty much everybody else imo.
Haha. maybe I read wrong rumours in a random forum or something. XD Well.. that's a good place to start Kishi!!
Haha, you don't know if Naruto would become Hokage... but seeing the way he's maturing, he just might be a great one!!

Or we could completely throw out the repetition of seemingly impossible victories at the hands of Naruto and let Sasuke and Naruto actually kill each other like Naruto said they would if they fought..

confused Hmm... here's my thoughts on Sasuke, because I think he get's a lot of crap he doesn't deserve (Even if he does deserve some certainly.)
I think people tend to build up archetypes of characters, then paste those on them, judging them subsequently. Ex: "Sasuke's that popular guy in school who always looked down on others, god I hate him! I'm not projecting my own insecurity at being a nerd at people! Naruto should be all powerful and pwn since he is the character project myself upon! *Angry screech*"
^,^ I mean, I'm not really agreeing with Sasuke's decision streak right now either, but at the same time, I feel that the valley of the end was bit too soon to give up on him. I think he's supposed to be that part of us that just wants to give up, you know? The contrast to Naruto, who NEVER gives up.
Uchiha's made a lot of bad calls, and I really don't like him right now, but the smallest of actions can really change a characters perspective.
He gives into the sorrow over his families loss,
he gives in to his brothers lies because it's easier to hate him then understand, (Come to think of it, maybe that's what he's currently running from. If he doesn't project the death of Itachi on kohnoha, then HE did it. And that's something I don't think he can accept.)
he gives in to praise he receives and is filled with hubris,
he gives in to hatred,
he gives into the fear of losing others, and pushes them away,
he gives into revenge,
he gives into power.
Every negative part of Sasuke's character is in surrender, and his redeeming actions the few times when he refused to. Killing Orochimaru, not killing Naruto at the valley of the end, attempting to give his life for Naruto on the bridge. I think the day Sasuke stops running away, stops giving in, then he'll be alright in my books. If that day is his last, then so be it, but I'd prefer for Itachi and Naruto's sake that it isn't.
Proto, you said you hoped Itachi says he's disappointed in Sasuke, but personally, I think he was expecting this from the the start. He knew what would happen if Sasuke learned the truth, hence the pieces he set to into play even after his death. The attack on Madarah via Sasuke's eye, as well as the card yet to be played, that which he gave to Naruto. In the end Itachi Uchiha isn't about to lose, and his only means of victory now is through Sasuke's redemption. We'll see. lol

The Main Branch and Side Branch Hyuuga is to protect the secrets of the Byakugan... The seal was originally never to be used for forced control... But it got that way somehow... hate, the thrill of control by the main family.
Neji accepted the apology from his uncle, which made the branches unite. And Neji and Hinata are now friendly to each other, hence why Neji called her "Hinata-sama!" The two families are not abolished, I think, but they are now no longer hatin'. Considering Neji got to Jounin because of his Uncle's teachings... and because he is a natural prodigy.
And Itachi implanted something into Naruto, supposedly. But I do not think so, or it would of activated when they saw each other in the Land of Iron. At the Blue Bridge... Funny how they keep fighting at iconic monuments...
And Sakura, well, she is okay, I prefer Hinata, but flat chested girls... -drools- Uh uh, sorry, anyways, Sakura will be superior to Tsunade because she will also know Uchiha level genjutsu by 20 years old... So not only will she know Kage level medical jutsu, but also high level genjutsu. Her brute strength is from the medical jutsu, she uses the same method of shoving chakra into your hands for medical, but instead uses it in a similar matter to the Gentle Fist of the Hyuuga. But it's rougher, and could possibly do far more damage.

No. I don't think Neji is Hinata's bodyguard. It's just...any Hyuuga's duty? But Neji is more human post time-skip. He protected Tenten, too, when he noticed she couldn't hold her breath anymore inside Kisame's Suiton. That's when he chose to attack.
Naruto's definitely going to end up Hokage. :3
But Xmas...what pisses me off is that he is a...loser! Seriously, with that great Uchiha brain of his...he's not someone who knows how to take advice, and implement them into his life. Especially from people who experienced similar losses (Kakashi). Sorry, but he's just pasting a general bad name on Uchiha. In fact, he prototypes the exact type of Uchiha Senju's been trying so hard to paint into the typical "arch-nemesis" face. Gyah! Sasuke just pisses me off... =|
I think Itachi only gave Naruto something (despite painfully admitting it was such a naive, sweet vision) because...SASUKE IS A DARN IDIOT. Who would've probably fallen for Madara's trap, Genjutsu or not. ; A ;
@ Qyp - What are you talking about? Medical ninjutsu is always focused to the hand...two totally different fields, it's not like Jyuuken at all. o_O
Hunh...? Since when is Sakura learning Genjutsu? Genjutsu type is only referring to people who naturally don't have a lot of chakra, but is gifted with chakra control (that's in contrast to people like Naruto and Sasuke who are the more natural tanking types, with lots of chakra that will be better suited for large-scale damaging techniques). And the Shosen medical technique was always capable of damage - we saw that displayed by Kabuto and Tsunade eons ago.
