I always wondered that in double elimination.
I would say no, to be honest. It'd just make everything longer than it already is.

Only two people are capable of a perfect at this point: Darth and Tenkai. Irony if they meet in the final fight.

HoH last year had this problem, as ALL tournaments that don't separate the winner/loser brackets do:
You'll likely have a X-0 win/loss record fighting at the finals, and if they lose there, you have to have a SECOND final match after.
In HoH last year, my team (the only team with a perfect score) just said ******** it and dropped it, because we didn't want a second final match. Too redundant, it would have been our third fight with HNG.

I was curious about that actually, let's pretend I beat Link 'ere, bash my next opponent, keep 'er going and make it to the final round. And I beat my opponent. And they're perfect thus far-
Would I therefore need to beat them again, and if so, can it be directly after I beat them last so I can get some cheap hits in? That'd be super.

Striker Nightmare Nah man. Vince'll laugh, and the laughter will win this time. He'll laugh, then run like a scurr'd b***h again and lose for like the eight hundredth time. And that's also the drawback of double elim without separate win/loss brackets. Personally, I'd say if I were in that position, I'd just go for a one-fight take all thing, instead of using the "I have a perfect record and require two losses" rule to fight again. It would just become redundant.
