Man, I can only choose between Sound and Sand villages? Would I still be able to have my lightning, water element affinities?

I don't understand, what is the Kiri break out bunch?

No that's alright, I don't really want my character affiliated with anything. I really want to go to the village that is the most active. Which one is that?

Alright, how should I put that on my profile, should I post my village as Kiri, or Konoha? In my background I'll make up something like this: Laram, after his parents were murdered, was sent to the Kiri village because the kage wanted him to leave for some reason. When he arrived in Kiri, he found a group of refugees leaving, and decided to go with them after they told him what was going on. ((Something like that.))

I really want to be from Waterfall. I am going to be an academy student after the time skip, so I wouldn't be any help. Maybe I followed you there, somehow escaping your detection, and you allowed me into your group after you reached Konoha. Maybe I have a note from the kage of Waterfall. I don't know if Mist and Waterfall are at odds with each other.

Background:
Laram grew up in the Takigakure village with his parents. He was a happy-go lucky kid until early in his tenth year of life, his parents were killed on their latest mission. The shinobi assigned to destroy his parent's bodies brought back three things: his father and mother's headbands, and a small, white, baby tiger. Laram was eavesdropping when he heard them say that it looked like the parents killed each other. After hearing this the village's kage decided that Laram could not stay in Takigakure, and that he couldn't find out the truth about his parents. The kage had some heart, however, because he allowed Laram to keep the things brought back.

It was decided that Laram would be shipped to the country of water's village hidden in the mist as part of a good faith gesture. Laram was transported by a Jounin that that had been a friend of the family. They boarded the ferry that would take them to their desired destination. They had to walk a distance before Laram's new village came into view. With his parents headbands in his pack, and a tiger in his arms, Laram kept on towards the village. His transport stopped, however.

Looking back, Laram gave him a questioning look. He said, "My orders were to transport you to the village, that is all. I have this note that you need to keep on you. Now, what you do is your choice." Winking, he disappeared, leaving Laram alone on the road. As he stood there, trying to understand what he was told, he saw a group of people that looked like they were trying to escape the village in a boat. He thought that if it was a village that people had to escape from, it wasn't a village he wanted to be apart of. He hid aboard a vessel that seemed to be chasing them. He followed the refugees all the way to Konohagakure, before they spotted him. He told them his story, and about the people chasing them, and they decided to allow him to join them.
Personality: Laram is serious, and sorrowful for now. The death of his parents hit him incredibly hard.

Uh, I don't wanna reveal too much about the mission, but it's highly unlikely you'd see them escape. Unless you sort of see a ship sailing gloriously intot he distance or something. That could work. wink

And just pretend you managed to catch the next ferry or something.

OR. You could sneak onto a ANBU/whatever boat that is perhaps purrsuing the ship.

Stats are pretty easy. The first thing you gotta do is the Abilities {Str/Dex/bla bla}. You start with 6 in each {base points} and you get 20 to distribute among the 7 abilities. After that you figure out your modifiers.

Formula for modifiers is:
{ability - 10} / 2, round down.

So if my Strength is 7 my Str mod would be -2 and so on. You can't really do much without modifiers and to have them you need to have figured out your stats so yeah, those should be done first.

Anyway time zone - GMT 8 hours? +8 or -8??? If it's +8.. cool!! What the hell are we doing up so late!! If it's -8 well.. what the hell am I doing up so late wink

You'd need to create a profile for your pet too but that can be later. It's pretty much the same anyway. Oh snap.. forgot to update pet skills..
