The small child was perched in a tree that hung over the cliff. He was looking down to the bottom of the cliff, a curious expression on his face. Every now and again he would throw a stick or stone off the edge and watch it fall. "Curious..." He said to himself as he swung his feet back and forth.

Seeing something bounce off the cliff intermittently, blue eyes traced the objects back to the source. Looking up to a tree that hung dangerously over the cliff was a boy she recognized. As she walked, she looked up to him with a somber expression, nodding to him in greeting, slowing her step in case he had anything to say.

The boy did not look at her as he threw stuff from the branch, but spoke to her nonetheless. "You are worried about Reevis, aren't you? Worried that he will die or something... Why? Do you not believe he can win if he has to fight?" The boy stopped swinging his legs and looked at her. His gold eyes seemed to be glowing just a bit and he looked at her curiously.

She did not look at him again but she did stop after he spoke. "Yawgmoth will not stop until he is dead .. again. Even if he were to win in one moment, the fight would not be over, it will continue another day, another time, until Yawgmoth has won." she replied honestly. Though she did not experience his persistence through fighting, she had experienced this attitude of his, relentless and unable to be escaped from. It was returning to her now also, slowly, she could feel it. She thought Crows warning would have been enough to keep him at bay forever.

Inhaling deeply, she shook her head a bit, bringing herself back to the conversation at hand.
"Believe my when I say through my personal experiences with him, there is no changing either of their minds once they have made a decision. Which is .. distressing.

But enough of them. How are you?" she asked, not looking at him still but clearly addressing him.

The boy giggled and was suddenly sitting on Ziven's shoulders. He was incredably light for some reason, so he souldn't cause any trouble for Ziven. "Don't worry, we got a plan." He hugged her head for a moment before speaking again. "I'm alright, just doing thing for me dad. Training, errands... that sort of thing. How are you doing?"

Hearing him giggle brought a smile to her face for a moment. She welcomed his presence on her shoulders by hugging her arms around his legs for stability and began walking again, showing no sign of burden from carrying an extra person, not only because he was light but because she had more stamina than most would think. Inhaling deeply at his comment and question, she thought for a moment. "Dad? That is slang for father, yes? Do you refer to Vice?" she asked, trying to keep things straight.

It was strange how she avoided the question. Just because he had the body and mentality of a child did not mean that he was stupid, but perhaps it was a touchy subject... then again, did he care much? "Yes, dad means father and yes, that means Vice." He put his hands on her cheeks and gave them a small pinch. "So, how are you doing?" He asked again, focused on getting an answer.

"Aiie!" she made an odd sound when he pinched her cheeks. Recovering quickly from the reaction, though it was gentile, it surprised her greatly. With a small sigh, she realized he caught her attempt of avoiding the question. "Worried. My apologies if I seem dismissive .. I simply am not accustomed to people truly caring about me. Even after all these months here with others who do care, I still expect the same poor treatment and lack of care I grown accustomed to receiving." she said, feeling she needed to explain herself. In the past, when people would ask, they would taunt her answers or throw back a reply indicating they did not truly care what the answer was or that she was well. "I feel like I should know what to do. I have ideas but I do not believe anyone will listen. I am no leader. I am one who works with others to execute plans." she said, speaking aloud without realizing it. She held her grip on his legs as she began to walk a bit faster, clearly still feeling stressed.

He giggled loudly when she made the noise, obviously very amused. He began to pinch her cheeks every now and again when she spoke just to see if she would either freak out again or it it would make her voice sound funny. "Old habits die hard, we know this better than anyone. Right now Reevis is consumed in making something he will never use, just because he is used to doing it. He's also making..." The boy stopped short and just smiled for a moment. "I'll listen to your ideas, bounce them off of me... figuratively speaking."

Catching on to this pinching game of sorts, she held a small smile as they continued, starting to play this pinching game back to him, pinching one or both of his legs every time he pinched her cheeks, never skipping a beat in conversation or walking. His reply caught her interest, but she waited for a moment, responding to the second part first. "It is a complete waste of time to attempt to fight against Yawgmoth using light or dark, holy or demonic magics. Size .. can be a bit of an advantage but not enough to sway a battle, one must be swift with their hands, swift with their attack. Range seems to always give an advantage to him, giving him more time to think and react." she replied softly, generalizing her observations and knowledge from the observations of others when fighting with others. She gave his legs a little squeeze, something of a hug, as she returned to his first comment. "Also making .. what?"

The boy giggled with delight as she began to realiate. He never really had anyone to play with... at least not in games like this. Moving one of his hands from her cheek he began to mess up her hair, trying to get it in front of her eyes. "We already know all this. He likes to keep his distance unless he panics, is pushed into a corner or feels as if he has the upper hand in the situation... but that is easily delt with." Her question made him smile a bit, but he was not sure she would understand. Instead, he replied with another question. "You know the masks that Reevis wears when he goes into battle?"
PostPosted: Sun Sep 30, 2007 6:53 pm

"Hey!" she said with a slight laugh as he messed with her hair. "Though I do not mind being disheveled, if I am unable to see, we may have troubles with our walk." she replied. After a moment of consideration with his question, she nodded. "Aye, that I do." she replied softly, sounding concerned, sad again.

He stopped messing with her hair and giggled, using his hand to shield her eyes completely. "Don't worry. You keep walking and I'll tell you where to go..." He could hear her get sad again but was unsure why. "He does this as a way to channel his energy. The mask would protect his face while keeping a secret energy inside of it... but he has not used such energy for a long time. So, he is making one to get rid of his excess anergy and bloodlust. I am awaiting to see the end result."

"Er .. but .." she started to protest as she stopped moving. She allowed him to keep her in the dark so to speak. As he continued speaking, she felt uncomfortable, upset again and resumed walking, now troubled by what Reeve had planned and by having her vision taken from her, she was feeling nervous for Reeve and his plan as well as nervous for they both to keep moving without getting themselves hurt. "I do not want him to die again." she said softly, sounding more now as if she were on the verge of tears. She would not allow herself to cry though, especially not with company present.

"You misunderstood." The boy said as he moved his hands away from her eyes. Gently he pushed her hands away from his legs, and a moment later he was standing right on the edge of the cliff. He had moved so quickly that she would see his second location before the pessure on her shoulders was gone. "He is not making one to get ready for a battle, he is making it so he does not have the urge to fight. Right now all his power is growing but not going anywhere, which brings forth his bloodlust... so he is just expelling some of it into a mask that he is making."
