"Yeah yeah. Just like every other time right." he looked ahead. "What's Akuji doing?" he asked no one in paricular.

"Sedric? Kumi? Akuji? Where are you?!??!" Serene shouted while running through the forest. When she found them she tried to stop, slammed into a tree. "owwwwwwww......." she moaned, falling to the ground in pain.

((clever, huh?!?! FROM MY OWN EXPERIENCES!!! xd xd yay for klutzyness! xp ))

Serene looked up dizzily. "t-that was me...sorry..." she then snapped out of her ditzyness and looked to the ground with a downcast look.
"I was gone because I was tricked into thinking my parents were still alive...and almost ended up getting killed...by some demon..."

Evil laughter echoed within the forest. "And so you did...Princess..." It said evilly, but still concealing itself within the trees, being careful to not show itself.

Serene started to sob. "IT TRICKED ME!! It said my mom was really alive and waiting for me...I don't know what came over me, but I followed it...and almost died...I passed out before I could find out who rescued me and took me to a safe place and left me there...I woke up in a cave this morning and thats when I ran to come find you..."

Sedric looked back at her with uninterested eyes. "And why would I do that?" he saw Kumi's face, with the word Ramen all over his face. "Fine, I'm in." he grumbled.

Serene nodded tearfully and stood up. "I'm sorry for being so weak...I used to be able to control my powers better...but ever since Naraku destroyed my family...and tried to kill me...it's like I almost lost all my powers comepletely..." She looked at her feet with a downcast gaze.
Serene then looked up, determined. "But, I think, if I give myself more time...I might be able to learn again...I will do anything it---ahhh!"

The demon rushed down at Serene,causing her to fall to the grond, and scowled evilly. "I will kill you, you wench!" It growled as it scratched Serene, leaving a big gash in her arm.

Serene winced at the pain in her arm as she gripped it tightly. "You know what? I'm sick of being weak!!"

She closed her eyes and concentrated on the pursuing demon. Her eyes then opened and glowed an unearthly red.
"DON'T YOU DARE MESS WITH ME YOU PATHETIC DEMON!!" She yelled as she formed a katana with a ball of white light that gathered by her hands. "NOW DIE!!"
Serene took the katana and sliced the demon in half, killing it. Serene kneeled down on the ground, panting and the katana dissapeared into thin air. Serene closed her eyes and opened them again and they went back to their normal shade of blue. When she looked at her hands and saw the demon's blood, she gasped.
"What the hell?!?!? W-what was that?!?" she said out of shock and a little fear. "H-how did I do that?"

Serene nodded slowly, still in shock. "yah...I think...it was...I never knew I was that powerful...I guess...when I thought of how mad I was at Naraku for killing my parents and the rest of the kingdom...my demon half came out...that...was...really cool...yet creepy at the same time..."
Serene said quietly, getting up.
"I'm gonna go to the stream and wash the blood off..." Serene said, drifting off and turning to walk to the stream a couple miles away.

Sedric frowned. "Great, and I was just up for killing something." he said.
