When one was fighting for the masses, concealment was necessary.

Phylas' tone was one of doubt, because over the years, he had learned not to expect as much. However, he would at least see if there was someone to register with and fight for money.
Money for clothes, food, shelter. All of the things, Phylas currently was without.

The priest's case was just such a case. There was a man preaching to the choir about being unholy and he was a man that prided himself on his knowledge more than his faith. "If you're ready to leave massster, I think we've got what we came for." She turned to look at Kaiser.

"Yeah, let's go. Not much more we can do around here, unless you've got things to do," Kaiser said. He had all the supplies he needed for the road - at least all he could afford anyway. Good thing Lament wasn't too far from Latent. Still, anything could happen along the way.
"I'm having a weird feeling we're going to end up travelling all over Gaia before we ever get to this treasure..."

"Of courssse, Massster. Will we be walking or taking sssome other form of transssportation?" It was a relevant question. Adrienne liked to know details, then a person could better prepare. If they were going to be on foot, she'd prefer to have a few more supplies, like water and food. It wasn't always easy to find provisions in the wilderness, no matter what anyone said about that.

"Lament isn't that far from here, so we can walk, unless you're planning on bringing alot of supplies with us," Kaiser replied. "If we had more money to throw around (I'm broke), I'd gladly get horses, or something of the equivalent. I could use the exercise, I guess."

Alexander walks through the town of Latent, looking around a bit. His armor clanks a bit as he strolls, the man making a note to take off the armor the next time he stops off at home.

"Let's see...Got the black shirt, jacket...he'll need the pants, if not two..." The tiny strawberry blond heard clanking right in front of her, but her arms were loaded down with boxes and bags, and she couldn't even see her own feet let alone anything else, using just the slightest touch of energy to give her a slight warning against disaster, but two things happened to make this fail. One, she hit a curb at the same time her shield recongized a person, and two, she was still bouncy from all the caffeine in that soda she's just had.
"Gah...." She knocked into Alexander and her packages went flying and she fell right into him.

Alexander quickly turns around as something bumps him. He turns around as a gorgeous young woman falls against his body, his arms quickly wrapping around her to hold her up.

 Large blue eyes that threatened to swallow her face stared back at him, even the smattering of freckles that covered her cheeks and nose so cutely and made her appear even younger than she was, wasn't able to hide the blush that flooded her face. "I ...that is...." The blush brightened. Her hands were pressed around his arms and she all but clung to him and she wasn't exactly inclined to stand up though she knew she was capable of it. Hey, wasn't that....

Her lashes fluttered and she collected herself. "Well, that is to say..." She pulled away slightly, wobbling slightly as one of her heels had broken off of her shoe. She dusted her skirt and couldn't quite bring herself to look him in the eyes.
"I saw you at Miss Fae's wedding. You were escorting Miss Tellus."

She squeaked, "My packages!" But her arms were also wrapped around his neck. Talk about a way to pick a girl up. "I was just on my way to get some cake before going home...Oh...you must be...." She thought for a moment, "You're too old to be Lucian ...so you're Alexander!?" She hoped she hadn't gotten that wrong.
