Well, frankly, Combat Patrol would suit your current force more than a crazy last stand like that. Or at least weight the scenario in your favor in some way. 400 pts. v. 2000. points is just asking for a slaughter.

I have to wait til after christmas befor I can get anymore stuff, but for now that's all I have..all in all my army wil be about 2ooo and not very big cuz I beefed everything up a bit...

That's not helping either. Anyway, I'll propose a topic since it's a little dead. HAs anyone played an Apocalypse game with their Tau yet? I've found the lack of any Apocalyptic Templates and no Strength D weapons really hurt Tau in Apoc games.

I haven't gotten to it yet, but apocolypse sounds ineresting, I don't know if there are any specific rules for it or not

If you're just building your army, don't worry about Apoc. You'll need at least 3k points to play Apoc, and you don't even have 1k yet.

tau do hae one truly powerful weapon, the heavy railgun. only found on the ax-1-0 and manta. i killed 4 warhound titans in 1 game with them. unfortunatly, i lost my tiger shark to a lucky lasgun shot.
