Personally, I'm for a simple "For the Emperor!".

"Spuds for the Spud God!" What? The Emporer is pretty much a couch potatoe now. Granted the =I= will have a friendly chat with me for this, I still see possibilities of alot of farmerguard in the IG.

Asmondai Or maybe something like:
"The Anonymous (Emperor) Delivers." ninja What, I´m not a regular visitor of 4chan´s /M, never. rolleyes Hmmm, the emperor's banhammers.
And I could just replace a lot of mention of 'emperor' with anonymous, or maybe "The Admin".

Blasted, need to rethink my Dark Knights chapter so that it´ll fit with the new DA codex. stressed
I´ll still keep the original chapter traits,
(Honor your wargear, Trust your battle brother, Death before dishonour.)
with the exception of the major-drawback-trait I tougth that the chapter can´t have terminator-armoured units/characters, dreggys, bikes, attack bikes, land speeders and maybe only one land raider and LR-crusader, but only one of them may be on the battlefield, due to many circumstances (main reason is to use special rules from DA-codex).
But then comes a question: should I make all HQ units (both commanders, both chaplains, both librerians and command squad) FEARLESS and use the Combat-Squad rule aswell? ninja
What are your opinion on this one?

fearless characters are cool... IMHO use the DA rules, just take lots of company veterans, to represent 2A marines (trust your battle brothers), and lots of devastators to represent honour your wargear.

What are your opinion on this one? Wait, what? You're trying to use the trait system with the DA Codex, what? You want six HQ, huh?

FlashbackJon Wait, what? You're trying to use the trait system with the DA Codex, what? You want six HQ, huh? That´s the idea. 3nodding Gives a nice filling and comparison to the background story of my chapter, being an ex-company of the Dark Angels.
And I´m not sure if I want 6 "fearless" HQ units. I might just go for 1 of each exspencive ones with "fearless" rule. Might be way-unfair for my oppoments, no? sweatdrop Van Evok fearless characters are cool... IMHO use the DA rules, just take lots of company veterans, to represent 2A marines (trust your battle brothers), and lots of devastators to represent honour your wargear. Honour your wargear gives Tank Hunter / Inviltration skills for Dev-squads and makes them elite choice, so just having lot´s and lot´s of dev squads (3 at max) doesn´t sound tempting. Now having a lascannon or missile launcher armed dev´s with Tank hunter skill..... xD
And I like the idea of having my tac-squads being able to fight back at assaulting units with the "true grid" and "counter attack" rules, hence making the whole army rather flexible in both close, mid and long range combats and possibly even cheaper then regular veteran squads.

The trait system only works with the Codex: Space Marines (hence their location) - you may use EITHER the C:SM or C: DA, but not both. And you can only have 2 HQ choices in a standard mission Force Organization Chart. It's not so much unfair as it is un-legal. wink

And I meant codex-wise, not actually having more then 2 hq units in the FO-army. I know my limits damn it. D:

D:No, you can take an =][= Inquisitor as an allied HQ in a dark angels army it's perfectly legal, tough a bit unfluffy. (My suggestion is take an inquisitor lord as an HQ-- that way you can take an assassin too!)

I know the old DA Codex had some sort of funky interaction with the Inquisition - I don't know about the new one.
