He did the same "thing" to them? What's that mean? What's that "thing"? For all I know, that "thing" repeated meant that you made another box over a layer of grass top. That's what it meant by its current description. You're going to leave me to assume your entire post because you were too lazy to specify a few words?
I'll ignore your hypocritical insult since it was not needed.

You know, if you actually put into action what you 'know', then we probably wouldn't have arguments. Why? Because that's exactly what happened. Granted it wasn't the same that was by Ren's feet, but more to the side, but that's exactly what happened.

"Put into action what you 'know'"? ...? Now you're just being silly; that's exactly what I did. Ren's actions were based off of what I knew, which, is based off of what you described. Ren's feet must have been cut off if the barrier was also under him when the grass got cut. But it wasn't mentioned in the description, therefore, there must not be a barrier under Ren. It was a poor description of what happened in the box, not going to lie. Not to mention you didn't say what the barrier was made out of. Would have helped, instead of assuming I knew.
I'll edit my post if you edit yours. It was really as simple as that, but, your pride must have gotten in the way somewhere along the line. No idea why, but that's ok. It's all in the past now right.

Ok, just asking here, but I just read the post of Nar's and he sunk into the ground right? So where's the problem then x.x? or is that the edit?
Just to clarify, Tut I've been told over and over Barriers can not be projected under another character's feet while they're touching the ground outside earth techniques. I'm back tracking your posts and seeing you encased him from above and below.
So either you're in the wrong for doing that in the first place, or people have been bullshitting me a about that aspect of a technique I've been forced to avoid.

And no, its not edited. That's what I posted, and it'll stay that way unless he puts in a better description or otherwise.

I edited it already, Nar. Quote: Granted it wasn't the same that was by Ren's feet, but more to the side I put it a bit more detailed in the originating post, feel free to see if it's fit. @ H4X: We have had barriers that encase people before, it's nothing really new here. Depending on the type of barrier though it could be an issue. Energy created barriers are easily able to slip through and encase someone (hell you can encase someone while being encased unless the barrier you're in stops it) since it has no real form, the same could be said for heat (not fire, but just plain heat). Example, stand outside while it's cool. Stay there as it gets hot, does the bottom of your feet not get hot as well? (Maybe not the BEST example, but I hope you can understand that bit a bit easier) Physical barriers such as metals, light, water (depending on shoes since some do have air pockets), things that have density and generally cannot simply be slipped under someone aren't generally valid unless they allow it (jumping, are on something made of that substance, etc.)

Hmm, I suppose I'll have to think this over a bit more, but from the sound of it I could project a barrier under someone's feet on the same rules, I just know I've been told off every time I had tried before the guild's change-over. The first time involved someone giving me reasons it's not valid due to the 'nature' of the original technique, others just because they said it qualifies as god-modding.
Guess it's good to know it's valid now then to cage someone during a fight without catching them mid jump.

It's valid, but it's generally hard to do. Building a strong barrier around a stationary object is a lot easier than building a strong barrier around a moving object. That is, to say, unless you have a lot of energy that you can burn since the chances are high you might miss them a few times. It also depends on the type of barrier. The reason I gave heat as an example of energy is because that's exactly what it is: a set of molecules that are moving fast enough to create a form of energy in the form of heat. Get what I mean? There are limitations on what and how you can create a barrier around someone. Probably the easiest would be to either use air or use nature elements. I won't go into detail on air, since I'd like to see some ideas I have come from other people. smile In other news: http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=1373399347533#!/video/video.php?v=1373399347533I LAWLED

xp Hmm, gotta admit, it's awkward when you know someone who basically is named that now, and still sort-of acts like it.
.... Also I love when I find a part was labeled wrong.

x.x *sigh* finished building it finally... though in retrospect I need to format it with a non second-hand operating system.
