Haza stared at the half-and-half. "What are you talking about?..." Though that would explain... He wouldnt think about it right now. He was causing himself enough emberressment already. Saying please and all that crap. He waited for Dr. Itachi's response.

Yamagawa-sama walked neatly. It was like...like Yamagawa-sama was being so confident that no one could come up and tell him what to do, and it was kind of cool. Chou couldn't have walked like that if he tried. He was too...nice to tell someone to go away, even with just his body language. But it was still really cool to see someone walking like that.

Then they stopped. And...and Yamagawa-sama asked if he was okay and he didn't want to say no but he couldn't say yes because that would be lying and if he lied he'd get in even more trouble and...and he couldn't do it... letting out a small, distressed whimper, he looked down, consciously avoiding Yamagawa-sama's eyes.

"I..." He paused, trying to form an answer that wasn't lying but wasn't the truth either. "...I'll be fine." There, that wasn't really a lie. He would be fine, eventually. He just needed a little time to regroup and get okay again, was all. Someplace else with people, but...but not here because Yamagawa-sama was worried and wanted to know and if he asked Chou would have to tell and he didn't want to right now until he got happyhappy again.

In a desperately feeble attempt at a distraction, Chou looked up, giving a small, watery little smile. "Are we here?" It was painfully obvious that he was trying to avoid the subject at hand, but Chou had never been one to lie, so whatever attempts he made at avoiding things were horribly obvious and not at all very workable.

At the little whimper let out by the other, the bright shining confident mask of a smile slipped very slightly from Yamagawa's face, the green eyes flickering rather vulnerable behind the half-moon reading glasses. It was quite, quite obvious that Chou-chan was distressed, but.. why? It was true that sometime between where they set out and now, in front of Kiba-san's office, something had gone wrong. But what? They hadn't met anybody -- he meant, anybody special -- and.. and he was quite sure he hadn't done anything wrong. Quite. Sure. Maybe. Not..

Armand sucked in a short breath into his lungs, letting go of the lip he'd been chewing in his agitated thought processes. Dammit, he was worrying. And if he worried, then Chou would notice, then they'd both worry, and fret, and be nervous, and that would be baaad..

With a bit of an effort Yamagawa smiled again, the slipping mask as easily repaired as putting a bit more clay in between the cracks. The redhead reached out and gently flicked away a lock of pink hair, twirling it between his fingers a little before letting go. His other hand found Chou's again, giving it a little squeeze. Chou-chan said he'll be alright, so Armand'll let it be for now. Chou-chan knew best about what he was feeling, after all. A vague half-memory flickered in his mind, and he decided that it indeed was annoying for him to be answering all the nosy questions. Maybe Chou-chan felt the same...?

So Yamagawa patched his mask back on, stuffed his worry into a sack and closed it tightly, and smiled. "Hai, we're here!"

He shivered softly as his breath brushed against his neck, the air even hotter than the water washing over him. Ware watched the reddened water rushing down the drain as though mesmerized, blue eyes deepening to a rainwashed grey-blue shade as he relaxed against the muscular form supporting him. Along with the water and blood, his anxiety washed away as well, and he purred.

His ears nearly twitched at the clearing of his throat, and he felt the smoke against his skin, slightly put off by the two together. The underlying feelings were clear to him in the sound he made, and he knew that it bothered him that he had been touched, and the smaller male felt worse for it, still believing that he should have fought harder against it, even though he knew that he had already fought his hardest. For the moment, he let those thoughts and fears slip away, and he whimpered softly as Blaine nipped and sucked at his neck, leaning back into him, biting his lip.

Ah. Good. Yamagawa-sama hadn't asked any further. That was good, because Chou didn't want to admit anything. Well, not really. chou couldn't even lie to himself. He did, kind of, want to tell Yamagawa-sama what was going on, but he didn't want to make Yamagawa-sama worry and get anxious because that would mean it was his fault that Yamagawa-sama had got worried, so while he wanted to tell, he didn't want to as well. Which was more than a little confusing, so he was glad Yamagawa-sama had dropped it. Maybe later he wouldn't mind telling.

And since that was out of the way...

Smiling, once more back to his happy-happyness, he looked over at Kiba-san's door. He wasn't going to admit how nice it felt when Yamagawa-sama twirled his hair like that, because those were bad thoughts he shouldn't have. He knew that because Master-sama had told him so, and he didn't want to have bad thought about Yamagawa-sama.

"Ne, if Kiba-san's door is shut, doesn't that mean he's not here?" he asked curiously. Did that mean that they couldn't get whatever Yamagawa-sama wanted from Kiba-san? If that happened, then where would they go to get what Yamagawa-sama wanted?

Chou was.. different. Armand had never ever seen that kind of happyhappy smile on anyone before, not even the cutest and littlest experiments. Maybe it was because Chou was new here. Maybe it was because he hadn't met any other.. people.. in the facility. Maybe it was because he hadn't seen the labs and what went on behind it. Maybe...

Maybe it was just.. Chou.

The redhead's lip twitched at the corners in a way that signified that he was very, indeed very close to breaking out into a rather hysterical laughter, but he held the bubbles back, trapped just inside his throat. He scared people when he laughed. It was.. He guessed that it just made people nervous even more, because nobody really laughed inside here. It just seemed to suck emotions out of you. Most people were susceptible to it. Not Yamagawa, though.

"Ah, he's here alright." That sociopathic recluse.. Well, maybe it was a tad bit too mean to call him that, but it was an -- almost -- truth. No-one really came to him for illnesses, since.. nobody really got that sick, only the test subjects, and people like Yamagawa were there to fix those. Still holding Chou's hand, the redhead raised the other hand and knocked firmly on the door, eyes again smiling behind the glasses. "Kiba-san? You here?"

Long teeth dug into his lower lip, the eyedropper held above the bubbling beaker, one hand steadying the other. One drop...just one drop...damn hand affliction, he just needed one drop... Gold eyes flickered nervously, watching the drop slide from the end of the dropper into the liquid. The drop hit the bubbling liquid, dissolved, and...the liquid turned orange, a small ring of smoke puffing up into the air.

Scowling, Kiba stepped back, hands on his hips, glaring at the beaker. "A half an hour of work, and all I get is a color change and a ring of smoke? What the hell kind of deal is that?!" He continued to glare at the mixture, almost daring it to do something. It just sat there.

Blinking slightly at the knock on the door, Kiba turned, tugging his hair out of its knot. "Coming," he called, giving another suspicious glare at the beaker. Then he slid his way over to the door, flipping the deadbolt and pulling the door open.

"Yamagawa," he said blandly, eyes noting the pink...experiment? Hadn't been here before. Was he new? "What do you want now?" He ran a hand through his hair, not even flinching as the beaker behind him exploded upward in an orange mini-mushroom cloud. Yamagawa was a little...weird...and Kiba tended to avoid him like the other scientists, though not for the same reason. Strangely enough, whenever Yamagawa was around, Kiba got the strange sense that the redhead was leering at him. Weird, huh?

Well, well.

The redhead winced slightly, shoulders cringing a little as the beaker -- at least, he thought it was a beaker -- exploded with fluro-orange mushroomy smoky thing, reminding him vaguely of some kind of crappy little B-rated horror movie he had watched with beer the other night. Metamorphoses in spite of all the cool awesome gadgets and high-tech gear, had crappy movies, if you were just paying for normal TV. He should really sign up for the flashier, cooler ones next time he got a chance; everyone seemed to be watching funnier movies than he was, when he overheard around the facilities.

"What do I want now? Kiba-san, surely you don't mean that you haven't missed me even one little tiny bit!" Yamagawa mock-pouted, darkish lime-green eyes glittering rather inquisitively behind the reading glasses that slipped a little down his nose. Kiba-san seemed.. a little more irritable than usual, today. Maybe things he'd been working on didn't go right.. and judging by the earlier combustion of the equipment, Yamagawa would go for that option. But that didn't change the fact that Kiba-san was one of the only people that Yamagawa actually remotedly liked around this dampy little place.

Unruly locks of red hair flying haphazardedly around his face, Armand turned and gestured towards the said pink experiment. "This is Chou. He's.. new." The usual thing, please. was the unspoken added meaning behind it. He hoped that Kiba-san would get it without having him explain a second time.. Too many, just too many of the little ones were shattered by other scientists.

((lol alright, why would I be mad at you? XD dont worry about it :3))

Felix smirked at the other and kept ghis crimson eyes on the man, "The name's Felix Mortigan, or as the scientist's call me #2415. Unlike you, I havn't been tested on and my looks are normal, being that I'm a hybrid. A vampire crossed with an incubus to be exact." He shrugged as he finished then looked back down at the other. "So now it's my turn to ask...who are you?"

His lips parted slightly at the question before closing again.Thoughts raced through his mind of past memories. How could he explain it...if he did, would this creature hate him?attack him?Either way....he knew sadly that he deserved it. "I..."he began slowly, his voice soft and his head tilting down,"I was once an assistant here. My last and only true act of kindness was done before I attempted suicide for all my sins commited here. But somone found me and had either ideas,I suppose. And so...I'm here."He body was still,so still it looked as though he wasn't breathing as he awaited the response.

"Heh, well it could be worse," Felix said with a smirk. Crossing his arms he leaned back against the wall and sighed, "So want some help getting out of there?" He asked with a smirk. The hybrid raised an eyebrow as he kept his gaze on the angelic looking being before him.

His head remained tilted down as he thought.Perhaps that wouldn't be such a bad thing. He wouldn't mind be out again, but he would be extremely vulnerable out in the lab as an experiment with no sight.Which had him come to think why this creature was willing to help him,and if he really was what he said he was."I wouldn't mind," he replied,"But why would you want to help me?Is there something you want in return?'

One fine eyebrow raised as Kiba crossed his arms over his chest, leaning back like he was resting against a doorframe, even though his back was suppoerted by nothing more than air. "Miss you? That would beg the question, when have I ever missed you?" He turned, beckoning them inside, sliding across the floor to a counter where a jumble of clipboards precariously layed. It was more friendly jibing --if they could be considered friends-- but at least Yamagawa wasn't as bad as some of the others.

"One sec," he mumbled absently, slipping over to the window. He knew exactly what Yamagawa wanted, but there was the question of the orange cloud that was coalescing in the air that might or might not be toxic. He slid the window open, lowering the temperature in the room slightly --from ninety-five to about ninety-three-- and began sweeping the filmy cloud out the window. Let someone else deal with it, he didn't want to have it in his office.

"Wouldn't want anyone to die of toxic fumes, now would we?" he questioned brightly, a phrase which totally contradicted the easy, carefree smile on his face. That was a mad-scientist phrase, and the smile he wore was more of a child's-daycare-worker smile, and it just...didn't work together.

The cloud finally swept away, he turned back to the room, perusing the vaguely (un)organized clutter of his office. He knew he had a little bit of 'the usual' left over from last time, but last time, it had been about twenty degrees outside and the heater had broken, so he wasn't really sure if he remembered where he shoved the little vial. His mind had been been nothing more than chilled sludge that day, and his body had been little better than that.

"Lesse..."

Yamagawa paused slightly at the threshold of Kiba-san's office, green eyes peering cautiously over the reading glasses; not that he was a stranger to the other's office -- or 'territory', as he called it jokingly sometimes -- as he didn't really mind the heat as much as some other assistants seemed to be. But really, Kiba-san's office was fast reaching the kind of legendary fame as the dance club down in the town that people favoured, albeit a tad bit more notorious. Yamagawa let a silent laughter shake through him at the thought; Kiba-san and dance club shouldn't be in the same sentence together, though a vague idea formed in the redhead's mind that the other would be a great dancer, if he tried.

Of course, he didn't dare voice this thought out loud, because.. Who could tell with Kiba-san? He could so very easily slip a little poison or such into his breakfast by 'mistake', and Armand really didn't want to give up his waffles and cheesecakes with milk tea. No, that won't do at all..

Taking a cautious breath of the blessed cool and normal air before he was subjected to the lung-stopping stuffy hot greenhouse thing of the office, Armand stepped into the room, leaving the door slightly ajar and hoping to all the gods that could possibly exist -- it couldn't hurt to try, right? -- that he doesn't pass out in there.

".." As expected, it was stuffy as hell. Yamagawa exhaled huffily, a hand rising up to loosen the collar of his shirt slightly, a flash of whity-pinky jagged scar running down from just under his jaw and down the side of his neck where it ended up just past his collarbone. Normally it wouldn't really be seen, except that it was really hot. Yamagawa used to find it fascinating how it changed colours depending on the temperature. Now it was just plain annoying.

Chou followed Yamagawa inside the room, nearly gagging as the heat slapped into his face. Hot...reallyreallyreally hot...how could someone live in this heat? It was so hot! Like...like desert hot! So hot that an egg would probably fry on the ground. Hothothothothot...

Heavy leather was not the right clothing for the hothothotness that was Kiba-san's office. He tugged his hand free from Yamagawa-sama's, tugging at his sleeves. Had he been wearing something underneath, he would have taken the top off --it was a little like a jacket, just all laced up-- except this was the only outfit he had, and he didn't actually have anything on underneath. Hothothothothothot...

Kiba tapped one finger to his lips, still perusing the office. Where would he had stuck that vial...somewhere he would have been sure to remember...course, that had been, like, weeks ago, and stuff had accumulated since then. For all he knew, it could be buried at the bottom of one of the various piles in the room.

Well...might as well start searching. Moving in that sinuously seductive way of his --or, it would have been seductive, had he been doing it on purpose-- he moved over to one of the piles on his desk and began searching through it, shuffling things so they were even more precariously balanced tan before. He didn't want to be the one to break the Jenga tower of his stuff, but he knew Yamagawa wanted the vial, and had legitimate reason for asking. Besides, Yamagawa was a vague almost-friend here, which was enough for Kiba to go rooting through his stuff.

Huh, not here. Nxt pile, then. Probably. Maybe.
PostPosted: Mon Sep 25, 2006 7:11 pm

It was established.

As much as he liked --well, in a slightly twisted, vague, and definitely tinged with lunacy sort of way-- Kiba-san, which was saying something because he was really, actually genuinly saying this, Yamagawa couldn't think how a person could stay cooped up in this greenhouse for an entire day, every day. If this place had some red-orange smoke --kind of like that which the other shooed out the office-- and hint of sulphur, this would definitely be fit enough for Satan's secretery to live in.

Yamagawa grimaced softly as he felt a drop of sweat run down the back of his neck, absolutely positively sweltering in the stupidstupidstupid white doctor's gown and desperately wishing for some kind of drink like really, really cold beer..

Wait, if he was this hot, and he was only like.. wearing his normal attire of a shirt, dark pants, and a gown, how would Chou-chan cope? He might.. faint. Or pass out. (he had completely missed out that the two were pretty much the same thing) That would be vaguely worrying. "You know, it'd be reeeeally easy for you to get people to get naked in this room." There goes his mouth again, sprouting random -- and, though he himself didn't realise it, rather.. provocative -- thoughts. Yamagawa's lips twitched up into a vague grinny smiley leery smile, as his eyes flickered between the mini-Towers of Babel and Kiba-san.

Kiba didn't even look up from this new pile. "Unless their having a physical or some terribly life-threatening injury, no one is getting naked in here." God, Yamagawa was doing that creepy leering thing again... He pulled back from this pile, frowning. Where would he have put it...

"Besides, you know I don't do well in your temperatures," he added, purely for his own benefit. He'd told Yamagawa this many a time, though he wasn't sure if it has ever gotten into the redhead's brain. But he did much, much much better in warmer temperatures. Even working in sixty or seventy degree weather made him more lethargic.

He frowned, straightening and running a hand through his hair. "Where is it, dammit...?" He couldn't remember, and he wasn't too pleased with the thought of going through all his stuff. Let's try...the aquarium, then.

He sidled over to the aquarium at the far end of the room, which had once held fish who had died of heat exposure. He didn't know why he might stick the little vial in the fishtank, but if he had been feeling as drugged that day as he suspected he had, anything was possible.

Chou needed some new change of clothing. Leather didn't breathe. Master-sama had always kept his house relatively cold, and he'd traveled at night a lot so as not to be seen, so he hadn't been exposed to heat like this. It was...it was hot...

Taking rather shallow breaths, he closed his eyes, leaning against Yamagawa-sama. Was it even possible to survive in a place like this? He felt like his clothing was tightening around him and making it impossible to breathe. How could Kiba-san not feel the heat? It was everywhere, clinging to everything, almost smothering in its hotness...
