Allen grinned to Maddy, "Yeah," Allen replied to Maddy's assumption about catching, "It's exactly like double battling. I think Kalos might be too far away from other regions for it to spread. I'm not really sure why though." As Misery spoke, or thought rather, Allen turned to look at her, "Why do you feel that way?" He gestured forward to walk.

She makes a quick glance at Maddy before looking down at the floor. "(No reason...)" She sighs. "(Let's just go explore and battle...)"

"So, is there a particular way to attract these groups of Pokemon?"
It certainly sounded interesting, but it couldn't possibly be a really common occurrence.
She picked a ball off her belt, ready to go and find one of these hordes as soon as Allen was.

Allen checked the time, "Hmm. Weird even though we've been out for a while, no one's met up with u- Oh right, we said we'd be in the lobby!" Allen laughed, sending out a message where they are and how to get there from the hotel. "That should fix the problem." Then he noticed a familiar face ahead, "No way.." Allen grinned at Misery and Maddy, "You know, I can get us into these hoard battles much easier." He walked ahead with a big grin on his face, "Russel! Hey man!" The balding man holding a thin box full of jars of thick golden honey with a sign hanging off advertizing them for 3000PD. At first the man looked completely and utterly ecstatic to see him, but soon deadpanned and started to back away, "Now you know you can't get away." The guy sighed as they got close.
"What do you want Allen?" He replied gruffly, readjusting his hold on the box to wipe his nose of his sleeve.
"Oh nothing, just a little bit of honey." He eyes the other boxes behind him, "Seems you're not getting much business these days."
"Yeah, well it's hard times out here." He steps between Allen's gaze and other boxes of Honey, "Thieves and all." He glares. Allen throws his hands up in defense.
"Aww now don't be like that. You have got to admit you missed me." Russel huffed and gave a disapproving look, "I'm actually here on business. We're looking for Honey so we can get into some horde battles." Allen's eyebrows went up, bringing a kind of mock sadness to his face.
"Well, you guys are gonna have to pay up them." He points to the sign on the front of the box. Allen grins, looking at the sign, then back to the man.
"I wonder what the missus thinks of your little... ventures into the outskirts of the city. Surely she won't look on it with a very delightful view." The man gasps loudly and drops to his knees. Allen turned his head to the side and whispered to Maddy, "He's a sick man, and has done so much worse. Plus these things are double priced."
"Please no! Anything but that! Here! Thirty percent off!" Allen shook his head. "Fifty!" he shook his head again, "What do you me to give them to you for free!?" He shrieked. Allen's head went up in thought, a finger to his chin.
"Free sounds good." He grinned, looking down at the man, "Three of them." The man frowned and slowly handed up the three jars of the stuff, "For each of my comrades as well." Russel grumbles and hands three to each of them as well.

Misery takes the jar of honey and looks into it. "(.......)" She then looks back at the man, wondering what Dark would do about something like that. "(I guess it's time to go fight some Pokemon....)" She sighs and looks around for some tall grass.

Maddy looked at the jar of honey. The liquid on the inside was a golden color. It looked pretty yummy, but she knew that they needed it for their main purpose today.
"So, what do we do with the honey now?" She asked Allen. She didn't really like knowing so little about this region and how things worked, but she had to start somewhere.
She remembered something about slathering it on trees, but she thought that might've been for another purpose elsewhere in the world.
"Hmmm... What Pokemon are available around here anyways? Maybe there's something new and exciting to catch."
She wasn't really sure what Route they were on at the moment.

Me: Well... Let's see if this works... Kadabra, teleport to the groups location.
*Kadabra comes out and then looks a tiny bit confused, but then a moment later, I'm with the group... with my foot in a honey jar*
Me: This is pleasant.

"Mmm?" Allen heard an odd noise and a voice behind them followed by a cry of, "MY HONEY!"
Allen whipped around to see Brian, "How nice of you to join us." He chuckled, "Just in time too." He turned back around, walking into the much taller grass, "You have to do this in the tall grass, 'cause it's where they hide." He up capped the jar, taking in lovely scent. "Man, if there's anything good about Russel, it's that he knows where to get the best honey." He takes in another whiff of the liquid before extending his arms out to pour it in a circle around him, "Now you wait just a little bit."
[Everyone here knows the rules for horde battles, just abide by them. The only Pokemon that show up in hordes on this route are Gulpin, Plusle, Minun, and Scraggy.]

Misery draws an oval around herself, not being able to draw a full circle. "(I'm so terrible at everything...)" She sighs.
Suddenly she hears a rustling in the grass, followed 5 little electric mice jumping out from the grass. They begin swarming her.
"(Annoying little things...)"She sighs and grabs a Pokeball from inside her dress. She then tosses it and Brick appears.
"[Okay Brick I need you to- WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?]The Tyranitar had run over to her and taken the jar of honey from her hands and began pouring it into his mouth. She quickly swipes it back with her psychic powers.
"[I'll give you all the honey you want after the battle!] Brick grumbles and turns towards the Pokemon. There were four Plusles and a Minun.
"[Brick, Earthquake!]" Misery shouts in Pokemon language.
The Minun launches itself at Brick, quick attack, and does no damage. A Plusle then does the same thing. Brick then lifts his leg up and slams it hard into the ground, shaking the entire area. Each of the little Pokemon cries out in pain and run off after being defeated.
Misery goes to recall Brick but he nabs the jar of honey.
"Buu buu?" He growls, noticing the jar is empty. He then turns his attention on Russel's honey stash. He stares at it for seconds before charging directly for it, his tongue hanging out the side of his mouth like a dog.
"[No Brick, come back!]" She shouts, but he was already gone. She lets out a heavy sigh and slowly chases after him.

Maddy did as Allen showed them, pouring the honey in a circle around her. The aroma filling the air was quite fantastic. Soon enough, the bushes around her began to rustle and 5 Scraggy hopped out from hiding, licking up the honey with their little hands. With a smirk, Maddy released her Noibat. The Scraggy's instantly became aggressive at the sight of a trainer's Pokemon and started the attack. Being the faster of the group, Noibat moved first.
"Hurricane!"
Noibat flapped her wings wildly, conjuring up a powerful gale force wind. It one shot two of the Scraggys, left two of them weakened (one of the weakened ones confused), and missed the last one altogether. Noibat was met with two Thunderpunches and a Headbutt. She was fairly weakened now. She wouldn't last another round.
Maddy recalled Noibat and sent out her Tyrunt. The confused Scraggy knocked itself out, and Tyrunt was also met with two Thunderpunches. The attacks were meant for Noibat, however, and did little damage to the dragon Pokemon.
"Earthquake!"
Tyrunt slammed the ground hard, causing the area to shake violently. One Scraggy fainted, and the other was left weakened. It rushed forward and hit Tyrunt with a powerful Brick Break attack, dealing a heavy blow.
"Fire Fang!"
Tyrunt's maw erupted in a burst of fire as it bit down on the weakened Scraggy, dealing extra damage thanks to it's Strong Jaw ability. The last Scraggy fainted and the battle was finished.
Maddy returned to her comrades.

It didn't take very long for the Pokemon to come crawling out at the smell of the honey. 5 Plusle began licking at the Honey left drizzled over the grass before realizing they had surrounded a trainer. As if they were all telepathically linked, they jumped to one spot to oppose the trainer, ready to fight. "Dolstro, go!" The Frogadier came onto the field, his skin shimmering brightly in the dim light of the evening. "Surf!" A nearby pond full of water swelled high and formed into a wave, but before it could hit the two Plusle toward the side of the hoard clapped their hands together creating a shower of sparks. The two Plusle around the center one lurched forward at incredible speed both using Quick Attack to hit Dolstro, but the one in the center didn't have enough to attack before the wave of water overcame them all. Three of them were washed away, but the two left had no intentions of running. One of them clapped it's hands together to assist the others' attack but Allen had other plans, "Dolstro, Quick Attack before the other one can. He nodded, racing off and attack the other one before it had the chance. It ran off.
"Smack Down." The Frogadier nodded, tossing a stone at the the last Plusle to scare it away.
Allen stepped out of the grass to wait for everyone to be done.

*I open up some honey and some Scaggy appear*
Me: You all ned to put on some suspenders. Swinub go!
*My walking carpet appears*
Me: Earthquake.
*Swinub hits the ground and all the saggers are hurt*
*The first one headbutts Swinub,
*The second one Low Kicks for decent damage*
*The third one Swaggers, confusing and enrageing Swinub*
*The forth one Leers, bringing down some of its defenses*
*The fifth one Feint Attacks, and Swinub isn't looking so good*
Me: Again!
*A huge quake comes, and four of the saggers are KOed, but one dodeges out of the way due to the sand in Swinub's eyes*
*The last one leers again*
Me: That was silly, Great Ball go!
Wiggle...
Wiggle...
Wiggle...
DING!
Me: Well, that was intense.

Allen chuckled at Brian's response to the battle, "Good intense right?" He chuckled and and headed the group back to the hotel, but not before stopping by Russel and telling him that Aqua would be up for buying his Honey collecting services. The man graciously accepted the offer.
[Rewards: Everyone who participated gets 2 Honeys.
Honey can now be found in the shop for 1500PD per jar.]
