With the heart of a dragon we ride" Drago Alta - 2nd year Gryffindor Dago was glad there were no interruptions. He finished eating 5 minutes later. He was a little hesitant to go up to the common room. What if Fionna and Lucas was there and bothered them more about the necklace? But he also wanted to sit in front of one of the common room fires and warm up. "Do you want to go up to the common room?" He asked.  "We are flying on wings in winter sky with fire burning deep inside
We are warriors of endless time forever and on
On wings of steel an ancient flight we see the powers that unite
The gods will now send us a sign of battle once more"

 Lily sighed, suddenly bored. she cosed her book, sliding it back into her bag. Maybe it was time to go see if Kyle actually was passed out. It wasn't like him to miss dinner. It was odd that anyone miss dinner, none the less.
"Ah well." She mumbled to herself, then laughed. She'd said that a lot today. Drinking the last of her water, she grabbed her bag and left the Great Hall.

Al looked up at Drago. "To be honest...I don't want Fionna and Lucas being upset with me. I'm gonna head to my mum's office for some private lessons or something, it's still pretty early, barely...what, seven? I'll meet you up there."
She gave him a good long kiss and headed off. Her weekend had been weird, but not bad. She skipped off to get some tutoring from her mom, to learn more about the Department of Mysteries, to study. To just relax, with her necklace on proudly. Fionna and Lucas...she loved them, they were great people, but they were paranoid! Honestly, he'd given her a necklace, there was nothing perverted or wrong with that.

Someone rich wouldn't just give away something that valuable and not expect something back. "Ok, see you up there." He said with a smile as he watched her skip away. Now that she was going to her mother's office for her lessons, he could find a place and practice the freezing curse. He looked through his book bag until he found his spell notebook. He flipped through the pages and found the spell. He wanted to protect Al. He didn't want to see her hurt. He got up and ran towards the washrooms so that he could practice in peace."We are flying on wings in winter sky with fire burning deep inside

 sιχтнуєαяgяуƒƒιη∂σя Lucas walked down to the Great Hall with Fionna, still laughing and chatting and waiting for her letter. They'd stayed up the entire night but he didn't feel tired at all. In fact, he was just so happy to be in her company. When they sat down at the Gryffindor table he piled to food on high, really hungry from no sleep. He put pancakes, waffles everything on his plate and ate, laughing and chatting away.
And then, Richard showed up. Lucas rolled his eyes as he saw the figure approaching them. That jerk, what was he here for.
"What do you want, Richard?" Lucas snarled at him, just about to take a gulp of orange juice.
But Richard was smiling, grinning. Not a good sign. In fact, he looked positively joyous at the sight of Fionna, and he was only looked at her.

Richard had finally done it. At last the proof. He'd gotten a love letter from Al and it had those three words on it. Dear Richard,
I'm so confused. I love Drago and I don't want to cheat on him...but I think I've really fallen hard for you. I hope that you catch me, because I'm already going down. Maybe things won't work out with me and Drago? I feel horrible when I say his name, knowing that you and me are perfect for eachother. You're so sweet, so sensitive...I don't believe what anyone else says and I never could. Should I leave Drago for you, because I love you more? But I don't want to hurt him and I don't even know you that well...yet I haven't taken the ruby necklace off in ages. The sparkling heart hangs above my beating one at all times and I rarely find myself thinking of someone other than you...

Al. Richard was smiling, beaming really. Thank you for that information, Rhiannon. It certainly paid off. He walked down to the Great Hall and saw Fionna there with Lucas. He walked straight up to the both of them, a half-smile half-smirk on his face. He ignored Lucas and slammed the note down on the table in front of Fionna and whispered into her ear, so quietly that not even Lucas would be able to hear it; “Your friend is clay in my hands. She's wrapped around my finger. And it's up to you what happens. If you don't dump that rag beside you, you can watch her cry knowing it was all your fault. You can watch her suffer, and suffer she will. Don't think the Headmaster won't know either...I've established a few connections with her. I can kiss up to people even when they're below me.
But if you agree to toss away Lucas, leave him for me, Al will be completely unbroken. Of course, I can't say the same for Lucas...why, he loves you, doesn't he? He'd be alone. Sure, he knew it would've been forced, but what a small comfort that will be when he can't hold your hand. Now make your choice. Now. I'm not patient, and I've been working too long at this. You know Al wrote this, it's her handwriting. Don't try and deny anything. What's your move?”

What could he possibly want? Fionna froze and became rigid when the jerk put his mouth to her ear and started whispering to her. Her eyes widened and she skimmed the letter. Why Al why? Had this been his plan all along? Use Al's naive nature and Fionna's protective nature to get to Fi? Probably. She should have seen this all along.
Fionna didn't have a clue what to do. Richard wanted an answer now. She wanted to bet him to a pulp just about now. If she didn't do as he asked he would hurt Al more than she could bear, but she would be hurting Lucas upon helping Al. He would understand wouldn't he? Yes, but it wouldn't make the pain anymore bearable. Tears started to form in her eyes and she willed them not to drop down her cheeks. Richard knew her move. He had planned it all out. Figured everybody out to know exactly how this would go.
Fionna started by saying, "I...I..." She stuttered trying to get the words out that she knew she had to say. She took a deep breathe, stood and tried again. Tears were in her eyes and her necklace shone to match those tear filled eyes. The pink crystal no longer shown and would not be seen for a while now. In it's place, sat a deep blue sapphire to represent her deep sadness. "Lucas. I. I'm sorry. I..."I'm leaving you." She paused and almost couldn't get the rest of the words out, but she knew Richard wouldn't be satisfied until her heard the rest come from her mouth. "For Richard." She finished.
Fionna saw the hurt in his eyes. What could she do? She was stuck in a corner with no way out. She gave Lucas a pleading look trying to tell him everything with her eyes. Perhaps she would be able to speak to him in the common room. Richard couldn't go there.

Lucas's eyes filled with tears but he just nodded. He took the letter off the table, Richard didn't protest. He saw her necklace turn blue. He understood...but that didn't make the pain hurt any less.
He put down his fork, he wasn't very hungry anymore.
"Okay...I...I'll see you around." He choked out.
And then he just ran. It gave him the feeling that he was going somewhere, headed towards some goal. He ran back to the common room, Richard couldn't get in there. But that didn't matter, since Al wasn't at the great hall, so Richard could stay there with Fionna as long as he wanted. He didn't cry, but he wondered if he would ever smile again. As he left the Great Hall, he thought he saw Rhiannon at the Slytherin table, looking over at them curiously. She was probably entertained by the events, that sick b***h and that horrible b*****d! He just ran through the hallways wondering where he was going...why did he ever come to Hogwarts...why?

Richard just sneered. Pathetic. It was foolish to care about one girl so much, when there were so many more gorgeous ones to care about. He put his hand low around Fionna's waist and kissed her cheek. "Let's go somewhere more private to celebrate, hmmm?" He whispered into her ear. There weren't many people around, but he didn't like his ears burning...he couldn't sworn Rhiannon was glaring right at him. Not because she cared about Fionna, or liked Lucas. Because he had kissed someone not of pure-blood. She hated those who acted superior, like he was, when according to her, she was the superior one. And Richard knew that was what she was thinking now. "Come on." He said a bit roughly, walking with her out of the Great Hall. He didn't care how it had happened, point was, he got his prize.

The perfect day had turned into a storm that seemed like it would go on forever. She felt Richard put his hand on her waist and kiss her and all she did was shiver. She did not push away or talk out. If she did he might break Al's heart. Blackmail. She now knew how criminal and wicked blackmail could be. "Okay." She managed to mumbled out as Richard dragged her out of the great hall away from prying eyes. She was going to be alone with him. Something she had feared since the day in the three broomsticks.

Rhiannon sat around, watching this turn of events. She almost felt bad that Fionna had to go of with that scumbag who wasn't even worth noticing, liek Rhiannon wa,s he wasn't at her level, wasn't superior.
Almost.
She only liked Austin, really. That was all she cared about? Who gave a damn if RIchard was flirting with some Gryffindor. It was sickening, but whatever.
She rolled her eyes as Lucas looked like he was going to cry. Oh, stupid love. If Austin left her, she's punch him, say hey your loss, and walk away. She might be sad, but she'd drink some unicorn blood and get over it.
She walked back to her own common room and sat around, lazy. She was so incredibly bored. Still, it was nice to think that she'd done something, caused some drama. If she hadn't told Richard all about Al, he couldn't have gotten to her. She felt satisfied.

Helen drearily sat down to breakfast, not feeling up to it at all. The recent upset in the class timetables due to teachers vanishing and the wedding meant that she wasn't learning much at all. She felt so lazy and useless and she played with her porridge & honey in the bowl...

After the sorting znae walked to his table only to look around and felt like he was alone. He had no one to call his friend for he was new to the school as were the rest of the first years there." I wish I had a friend" he said to himself only to feel not hungery as of now.
