It's a case of reality being unrealistic. We become so use to what they DO show on TV and the movies, so that if we ever see it in real life... it doesn't live up to what we expect.
Sometimes it's "tame" , other times it's well over anything they could produce.
Did you know a few decades ago a politition killed himself on live television? I saw a clip of it. Blew his brains out with a gun. There wasn't a spray of blood behind him, but a lot of blood did come pouring out of his mouth and nose.

Yes all of them. How could i been so blind? >.<
I know how, because we rarely think of zombies and storms at the same time.
The set up for the level is that they're on a boat and have to make a stop and get fuel. Nearest place with gas is miles away, so they fight through the zombies. It's on the way back that things get interesting. Because Left 4 Dead 2 is based in the south during late summer early fall, that means it's hurrican season.

Haha, yeah.
So I like zombies and have plans to try to survive if there was ever a zombie outbreak. And of course somebody had to cash in on it. I just never thought of how much the weather could screw me over.
But then again I should know all to well about that. After all, I do live in Georgia, and get can get hit just as hard by hurricans and similar storms as Flordia.
Ah, nothing like having the power out for three days as you clean up fallen limbs... and trees, in between down pours.

XD So you're saying that it might be harder to fight a zombie hoard in the middle of a hurricane with no power...? Gee. How come I never thought of that?

Not so much the lack of power, that I have planned for, but the effects of the hurrican. Even staying inside doesn't help much when/if the zombies break in.
Oi, I can just imagen being caught outside, during a storm, with the intense wind, blinding rain, drenched as I fight for my life. In both against the zombies and the elements. Not to mention the phycological effects.
