Harvey_Kinkle Giesta It has been a while but yes I did like the movie ["Hollow Man"], it is one of his good sci-fiy movies he has done. 3nodding The elevator shaft scene looked mighty dangerous to the actors. It crossed my mind that they constructed something horizontal and then shot it sideways to make it seem vertical. My alternate theory is that the actors were fitted with harnesses and safety lines. What do you think? Hmmmmmm, I would guess the harnesses perhaps but if was far to dangerious for anyone it may have been CG-ed and no-one was in danger. 3nodding

Does that stand for computer generated? Just a guess.

It showed how the actor was suspended on a long LONG wire from a crane way up in the air, with CG effects added later. It's amazing what computers can o graphically. The Green Lantern movie looks like it's gonna be pretty good.

I have a friend who I talk to here on Gaia which lived here where I was for a while then moved away, he is a big Comic Book Fan and he is really psyched to see this movie. (His Favorite character is basically either Hal Jordan the - Original Green Lantern, or Captain America. Yeah, Ive heard the suits they are wearing (Green Lanterns) are Computer Generated because they though it just wouldnt look right to try to do a traditional super-hero suit out of latex or such. xd

The world moves for love.Ooooh... The Green Lantern movie... I have seen all of the previews for it and can't wait until it gets to be on DVD. It looks like it is an awesome movie. I don't care for the Green Lantern and it looks like an awesome movie. (I didn't care for Iron Man, either, but those two movies were pretty great.) It kneels before it in awe.

I believe a Green Lantern movie itself is one of those movies that had to wait for Technology to catch up a bit before they could do it, and of course a time when people were interested in Comic Characters again like people used to be a while back. Now about the only one they like out of the Justice League is Wonder Woman and Green Arrow oh and Martian Man-Hunter. Technically they have done movies for all of them at one point or another in the past or recently.

I had never heard of the Green Arrow until I watched Smallville. I just kind of thought that he was made up for the show. I have never cared for Wonder Woman or the Martian Man-Hunter. I am very picky as to which characters I choose to like. They will never do a movie about my absolute favorite character, though. They could never find anybody who fit the part. I want to see a movie with Deadpool as the main character. I LOVE the merc with the mouth.
It kneels before it in awe.

It kneels before it in awe. Yeah, Green Arrow is an old one, but he hasnt ever been as popular as his buddy Green Lantern they fight and argue like a married couple all the time in the comics. xd Who knows, maybe one day enough people will mention him and he will get a movie to.

That'd be cool, 'cus they'd have to include Black Canary in there somehow, and I've had a superhero crush on her since I was a wee young'un.

Speaking of superhero movie adaptations, have we talked about our thoughts and opinions of new Batman movie ('The Dark Knight Rises') and how Anne "Goodgollymissmollyshe'ssohot" Hathaway is gonna be Catwoman?

thought i remembered the old cat woman movie which sucked really bad Yeah, man! When I heard I was all "HELLZ YEAH!" It's funny though, 'cus apparently, she punched a stunt man in the eye with the butt of her gun during a fight sequence and gave him a black eye... I don't think she did it on purpose, but that's still pretty badass. And yes, the Catwoman movie was a huge mistake... I don't think we should mention it again. neutral

I loved her as the White Queen back when the new Alice In Wonderland came out. ^8^
