A quiet beep emitted from Nolan's bracer, and he pressed a button on it in response. Sitting down, now, Nolan pulled a silver cigar case out of his pocket and pulled one out. It lit automatically, and Nolan placed it in his mouth.
"Daily cigar time," he muttered in explanation to Nina and Shino. "Either of you want one?"
Aerclayr picked himself up, said nothing, but examined his wrist with curiosity. Then he pressed a button, but nothing happened. Looked like the inflatable explosion assault option wasn't reloadable.
So, Aerclayr raised his hand, pointed it at the pile of organic ship material, and shouted, "Go go gadget flame-thrower!"
...Nothing happened.
With a sigh, Aerclayr walked over and kicked the pile, only to jump back in surprise to find that his foot had turned into a flame-thrower, lighting the pile on fire with ease.
Flame-throwing foot. Sounded cliche to Aerclayr, but he had no idea where that had already been used before....
((Jad's Galactic Reclamation Company is very... strangely similar to the Kukai Foundation in Xenosaga. So many coincidences....))

"No thanks." Nina replied. She pulled Steve to her side and whispered to him then he ran off and came back with a huge stack of papers. "Those are my records. I don't believe in keeping that kind of stuff in the computers... Have fun." She smiled at Nolan.

Nolan grimaced at the stack of papers. "Are you being serious? This is not why my job is what it is," he complained, but began to go through the top of the stack of paper.
Suddenly, Nolan yawned, and as he did this placed his hand up to his mouth to cover it. Extremely quietly, he murmured into the bracer, "Mariel. She has records."
Then Nolan recovered himself and began to sift through the papers again.
The hooded figure, standing, and Maggie - laying on the ground, still slightly in shock - continued to stare at each other for a long moment.
Then the hooded figure spoke.
"It has been some time, Child. I was beginning to fear you wouldn't return to your clan."
Maggie only shook her head, as if in fear. The hooded figure tilted its head, as if puzzled or amused. "Surely," he or she said, "you still don't have ill will against us? The Gull would not be pleased with that...."
Then, lightning fast, both leaped forward at the same time. Maggie with a fist outstretched to punch, the hooded figure with a wickedly serrated knife outstretched, presumably to stab.
The knife stopped near Maggie's chin, and pricked her ever so slightly. Maggie blinked, stuttered, then slumped into an unconscious heap. The knife was returned to its owner's cloak.

As Mariel continued to drink and some-what flirt with Jad she suddenly got a beep in her ear. She pretended to scratch behind her ear, pressing a small button that sent a similar sounding beep to Nolan. It indicated that she heard, but could not respond and also informed her partner that she was still around.
"So... Are you all alone on this huge ship? Do you have a crew like that one?" She asked sweetly, pointing her thumb behind her shoulder to where the Atlantis might be if you could see it from where she was. "I didn't see anybody on my way in here..."

And has anyone else been to the Why Not winter ball thingy in the "SEH" subforum? I dressed up my avi like this for that, that way I can be nice and formal, yet still have tattoos and nose piercings. xd xd xd )) " And then...she faded to darkness.
