Erik laigh again as the servent came in with two glass of milk one for erik and one for spike "so what you been up to?" he asked him at he took a sip from the glass

Valaryia entered the kitchen dismally. She washed her dish in the sink, not bothering to ask the servants to do it for her. Mindless activities.

Valaryia, overhearing the conversation, shrugged. They either hadn't noticed her or didn't care. Either way, she didn't want to be rude and force herself into it. But boy, did know Emilie would offer. She went out back to the garden.

Valaryia sat out in the garden. It was hard for her mind not to wander to Neferata. So many intimate moments were shared here. A week? she thought. That's not so bad... Still, her gut twisted at the thought of being without her. And with Emilie here, things would only get worse. Valaryia wondered if Neferata got the locket she sent back. If she was wearing it. If she threw it away or broke it out of anger. If she didn't even get it at all.

Valaryia looked up at the wings over her head. Her expression was blank and tears streaked her face. She hasn't even noticed it was raining. In all her life, she had never been so absent of her surroundings. She forced a smile, but it came out weird and distorted. So she looked away, down at the ground.

Erik look at her seening the sadness inher face "hum.. its ok .. i see your not up for talking i can stand in this rain all day if you like... until your ready to talk" he said smiling at her as his wings stell over her keeping the rain off her
