Colche puurred and smiled in a catty manner. Though she hadn'ty been able to protect herself against Billy, she knew there were others around to help her. Colche smiled in an innocent way, Greer knew she was a Cheetah, still it didn't stop her informing Greer of her 'proper title' "Colche princess cheetah" she stated, looking hppier than she had in two days, she loved telling people she was a princess cheetah. It sparked that little girls love for fairy tales.
"Aubrey says watching all time, Billy bad naughty man but no more drugs for heem" she didn't entirely understand the phrase ' no more drugs' or for that matter what exactly drugs were, she just knew they made people bad, Aubrey had said so.
She paused in thought then, hadshe ever asked Greer what she was turning in to? Tilting her head a little a curious look came to those big sweet blue eyes "greer birdy" she stated, though it was more of a question than an affirmative to herself.

"Ah, a princess cheetah." The woman smiled, pulling back a little to give the girl a small bow. "Pray forgive me Your Highness, I did not know."
She didn't know precisely where there princess bit had come from, but she was sure she could find out if she did some reading up on big cats. Pity research was as fun as it used to be. And Colche really ought to be taught how to take care of herself at some point but... now was not the time, and the entomologist was no martial arts teacher. Hopefully Aubrey would think to see to that.
"Yes, Greer birdy. A hawk, actually. A Harris' Hawk, or a Bay-Winged Hawk if you want to be specific. Do you think I'll be able to fly someday?"

Colche smiled and puurred "Harris..hawk" she nodded, though she looked very thoughtful "fly like birdys?" the thought was too delicious not to fantasise about. She could imagine flying, "be like aladdin" she grinned, she had been watching alot of DVD's of late.
Her attantion was taken to the door again for a moment, she just wanted to double check Billy wasn't coming, it was safe, Greer would protect her but the thought of Billy still scared her.
Her attention fell back on greer though "flying..look..fun" she smiled, her vocabulariy really had improoved alot since she last saw greer.

"It does." she said, frowning and trying to figure out why Colche kept looking at the door. Worried about bad men? "I think I'll need more wings on my arms before I can do it, though."
She smiled at the girl, glad that she'd been doing okay beside some poor encounters and that others were looking out for her. "Would you like to help me take care of a small kitty, Princess?"

"Kitty?" Colche tilted ehr head questioningly, was there somone else turning in to a kitty? Well she knew that Julian was a kitty, but she hadn't seen him for a very long time. She grinned and nodded. "Okay" she giggled and looked at Greer a bit shyly though, "still Colche Greer" she giggled happily, her sweet tinkly laughter echoeing through the cafeteria. She wondered wheer the kitty had come from, it didn't really matter though Greer wanted ehr help and she was happy to oblige.

"Good! I came here to get food for the kitty, and then I was going to put it out on my doorstep." She got some ham as she spoke, also fetching a knife and cubing it on a plate. "The cat's name is Captain Morgan, and he came to the island with Se- the Dude. Do you remember him?"
Hopefully this wasn't a futile exercise, but if any domesticated animal could survive by himself on this island, it was that huge marmelade tom.

Colche looked thoughtful. She couldn't remember if she had met the dude, for such a small island there were lots of people she didn't know, still she gave a half hearted nod "Captain Morgan" she smiled watching Greer cut up the ham. She giggled though and padded over to the self service bar and came back with a peice of sushi which she popped next to the ham "kitty like fish" perhaps she had read this phrase in one of her books, but she knew kittys liked fish and that this 'sushi' stuff was fish so maybe the kitty would like it.

"Good idea Colche!" Greer nodded, glad to see the girl taking initiative, however small. She really had changed a lot since she'd last seen her.
"Now, let's take this to my house and see if the kitty will come and eat it. I don't think he'll come right away, but we can check the plate again tomorrow to see if it's empty." Of course, some other creature on the island could always come and consume the offering but... she prefered to think the cat was eating it if the food was gone.

"Okay" Colche smiled again, glad she was helping. She hoped she would see the kitty though Greer said he might not come. She liked the idea of seeing a cat, of course she knew she wasn't your regular sort of kitty but in a way she was one. She had seen kittys in her stories and on the DVD's she watched, like the lionking that was full of kittys.
Padding off towards the cafeteria exit, she paused and wrinkled ehr nose, she had almost forgotten to check that Billy wasn't theer destracted by the fact that she was going to feed a kitty. The coast was clear though according to her nose and ears so she pushed the door open and waited for Greer. she really did hope the kitty would come.

Carrying the plat laden with food, Greer followed the girl to the exit and then led the way to her duplex. Now that she'd remembered the captain she was feeling awfully guilty about not feeding him. She'd promised Sean she'd look after his pet, hadn't she? Poor cat, alone and starving on this godforsaken isle-
When they got to her front step, there was no cat in sight. Of course not. He would have figured out a while ago there wasn't food here anymore. Not noticing the large shadow watching them from her roof, Greer put down the plate of food by her door.
"I don't know if he'll come, Colche, but I hope he will. Thank you for helping me make the plate."

Colche puurred and grinned "fishy for the kitty" she giggled a bit yawning and showing those long white fangs she had inhereted with her recent change.
Her fluffy ears twitched aq bit and she looked about in a partially nervous manner. She had heard something but there was no scent of Billy near by. She wanted to be calm really she did. She wanted to see the kitty and have a nice mid morning nap in peace. Noone was going to get her Aubrey had promised.

The moment Greer's hand was off the plate Captain Morgan jumped down on top of it and began eating, making his usually growly purr as he ate so no one tried to take his food. Greer chuckled. And here she'd been worrying.
"Here's the kitty! He never passes up a free meal."
The large orange tabby ignored the 'kitty' comment, since he liked the bird lady and the food was good. Kitty. Really.

Colche was quite surprised when the 'kitty' jumped off the roof "ohh!" she stated watching him eat, he was a hungry critter. She giggles, though it;s interrupted once again by a tawn "come back see kitty later greer" she says simply, saying one of her more, understandable if not entirely gramatical sentences. "Pritty Captain morgan" she grins and watches the Kitty eat. She wasn't entirely sure whether she should stroke him, he seemed entirely involved in what he was eating after all.
She paddedover to Greer and snuggled ehr birdy friend with a happy puurr "nap time" wrinkling her nose, she looked around one last time, before making a slow pad towards her Duplex. It wasn't too far away and she usually would have made the journey much faster but her mucles were still a little achey.
Glancing back one last time she waved to Greer from her Duplexses porch and vanished within. It was definately nap time.

She returned the girl's hug and patted her head before she headed off to bed. "Sleep well Colche!" she called after her.
Her bipedal feline companion gone, Greer sat down next to the four legged one and looked out at the village beyond her door. She wondered idly if she even remembered which one was Sean's.
"I suppose it's down to you and me, huh Captain?" she asked, petting him when he bumped into her leg after finishing his meal. "But we'll take care of each other."
Of course he'd take care of her, the cat thought, enjoying the scritching behind his ears. She provided good meals, after all.

Avery felt that he got a lot done today, considering he really didn't have many obligations on the island. With clean laundry and new clothes on the way, he decided to go and try to find something fun to do. He remembered playing video games with Awen and Rex once, so he went in search for the entertainment room.
He hadn't really looked around the last time he had been in this room, and reasonably so, since the last time he was here he had a panic attack. But this time he took his time examining all the DVDs and video games available. He hummed tunelessly to himself as he tried to figure out what to watch or play.
