Zelyhon FOR ALL SLAYERS AND EVA FANS: Something that's been bugging me for a bit, since I read it in a Slayers/Eva Crossover MSTed fic. The AT field is the wall of the soul, right? Thus, it probably exists on (in Slayers terms) in the astral plane as well, correct? Ra-Tilt is a devastating attack that targets and destroys this exact thing, right? My question is, do you think that Ra-Tilt, if cast from, say, Zelgadis, has the ability to break an average AT field? Err, no. The Ra-Tilt hit the astral plane, but from what you find out, the Ra-Tilt can't hit a normal human as they have no presence in the Astral Plane. You learn from Eva that every living being has an AT field, the Evas only enhance, amplify, and exert said field into physical space. So, using that logic, the AT Field and the astral are two seperate things. If anything, the AT Field is much more like how the Sword of Light functions, an aspect of will power that can be strengthened and utilized through other means. However, if you do want to assume that they are the same then the average Ra Tilt can't break through an Eva's AT field. The standard Eva's roughly at the same power levels of an Angel. Assuming that Angels really are Angels, in that they are directly under the Creator then Angels would equal to Mazoku Lords or even Shabrinigdo (or however you spell his name). Ra Tilt may stagger them but it would never break the field. Ra Tilt through the Sword of Light may wound but not much more, and it wouldn't be much of a wound anyways.

New Year Entry #1: After nearly a year of recovery and failure I have once again restarted my attempts PUNISH through the internet. Early attempts to perfect the "zapper button" have resulted in lose of hair, sperm count, and potential brain cells. None the less, I shall prevail! However, impromtu shock therapy has pushed me away from the zapper and so I am forced to think up a new method. It should have been obvious, kamikaze sparrows!

Just an interesting thing that I wanted to put out there. You equate Evas to the Sword of light in that they amplify will. Does that mean that one could possibly fire a Giga Slave out of an Eva?

Zelyhon Just an interesting thing that I wanted to put out there. You equate Evas to the Sword of light in that they amplify will. Does that mean that one could possibly fire a Giga Slave out of an Eva? Well, no, they aren't the same thing, but they are similar devices. The Sword of Light takes will power and amplifies it into energy, magic is essentially channelling power through strength of will, so if you mix the two together you get a stronger spell. An Eva on the other hand only takes a specific part of will and amplifies it into a barrier. Essentially, it takes the barrier of the mind/soul and makes it real instead of metaphysical. However an AT field isn't controllable by the pilot, it's always "impenetrable" to conventional weaponry and neutralized only by a stronger/equally strong energy source (a rival AT field, the Lance, or the positron rifle for instance). Willpower, in an Eva, only serves to hasten reaction times and synchonicity such that the body of the Eva becomes your body. The Sword and an Eva both rely on will power but they utilize it in different means.

dot_com Then I discovered a weird Japanese flash of it with drunk cats, and other weirdness. It sort of reminded me of a Japanese rendition of the All your bases are belong to us... and Yatta flash vids. Sort of seemed like a parody off the Romanian language? I'm not sure. It was cute though. I think I've seen that, actually. They were making up words for what they were saying, or something..?

3.14 Well, I didn't get that job...but I did? There were 3 positions open. Out of the 9 people that were called back, I was the fourth on their list. They were extremely impressed with me, and want to hire me; but there are no openings. The other 3 people that got hired just had more job expirence. In the end of Feb/ beginning of March, more possitions are going to be avaliable. They told me they would call me as soon as they are open, and would hire me on the spot. So, I guess I got the job, I just have to wait? sweatdrop That's what it sounds like, good job! domokun
