::"Medal" hits over the PA System and the crowd jumps to their feet, cheering for their Olympic Hero. Angle walks out, his new IC title on his shoulder, he is wearing jeans and a sleeveless "Born American" shirt. He limps down to the ring as the crowd gives him and standing ovation for his epic match against Edge. Angle gets into the ring, wincing, he walks over and calls for a mic, the Angle chants die down as he prepares to speak::
"Recently I had a ladder match with my former best friend... Edge."
::Angle winces as the crowd cheers::
"Now... I have one simple request... Edge I have a whole new respect for you. I went into that match looking for revenge, all I got was more respect for the man who put me out for a couple weeks... now... if you come out here... all I want... is a simple handshake... c'mon Edge!!!"
::The crowd cheers starting a "We want Edge" chant::
