That sounds interesting!
Questions:
Is everybody in the electronic world, or just some people? If just some, how many people in the normal world know about it (aside from the computer genius guy)?
How common are Techies/Prodigies/Adepts in general and within the magic system?

We went to fireworks last night, and we're going to fireworks again tonight!
whee We tried last night but it seemed to have been cancled without any notice. We are going to try again tonight. Evilweirdo 0 I have an RP idea, but I don't think it's really good. Still, if it sparks ideas, that's good. For a reason that I am keeping secret... Id join as my first rp! smile

That is unknown by the people in the electronic world, and would be considered spoilers. > I'm not quite sure. Either this place is a prison, an apocalypse shelter, or something else.< 2. They're rather uncommon, but people know that they exist, and every community probably has a few. Casters fit for adventuring are less common. Probably one out of three are good fighters. If enough people express interest, I might develop this into something. the original neji hyuga Id join as my first rp! smile Cool, I might just develop this like I said. Just no pansexual kitsune demon angel uber magic knights who can steal souls and instantly kill! Hmm... Should I use something like the Tales arte system, but with freeform elements, or just freeform with some spells known listed?

Gotcha. I guess I was more wondering if it was going to be a la Matrix. XP
So what would be the player ratio of caster to non-caster? High, low, even? (i.e. If half of the player characters were casters, would that be imbalanced?)
I think freeform spells would work better, just make sure that there are known limits or you might end up with spells that you didn't think of that break the game.
That said, you could certainly use the Tales system as a base. *shrug*
Also, I would join. :3

Cool. I suppose it has some stuff in common with The Matrix. xd
All PCs would probably have some ability. Extraordinary weaponmasters, martial artists and the like fit under the adept category. Techies would probably retain skills from their previous careers, so they could be the Red Mage/Blue Mage types, or even a sort of Magic Knight. Prodigies are innately skilled at casting. The class lines are a bit blurry at times, but they have different specialties.

Well, its official! Through some ingenious memory swapping I now have an entire 1061 Gamecube Memory Card devoted entirely to Tales of Symphonia. (even though its nowhere near being full)
