Tomo put his hands on his head as if protecting his brain. "You can read minds?" He asked, tail swishing nervously. Mind readers made him uncomfortable. "Cass... She's my girlfriend. She has this beautiful silvery blue hair and these eyes that..." He sighed, "I melt around her."

"Yeah, Kai did too, well almost all angels can, the ones that were made or infused with the presence of God." he finished his muffin and stared at Tomo, thanking the Lord above Tomo couldn't read minds, "And if your wife dies so soon you still found love again. How?"

Tomo cracked his knuckles, "It was accidental, I guess." He replied, swinging his legs. "She'd been smitten with me the moment she saw me... Back when Kaia was still alive." He explained. "When Kaia passed on, she was still pregnant with Liam. Somehow, her murderers found a way to transfer the baby into Cass." He shook his head, "It's really confusing to me as well, so don't ask me to explain how."

I liked Sapphire because she stood up to me even when I was a jerk, now I look at her and I only see pain. Now River comes and I can't explain what I feel. "Or I am incompetent for finding the right one. Or maybe I don't have one. It's strange, everyone that comes in this Inn falls in love with someone. Maybe it's like the flu..." he smiled as he finished his beer, "Thanks for spending some time with me. I better go back home." he left the bottle and walked out in the rain, using his powers to get back to the house.

Caradoc strutted happily down the stairs, unable to get the bounce from his step since the other night. Things were going perfectly in life, right now. He almost wanted to cry out with happiness. If he were in a musical, he'd be breaking out into song about every ten minutes.

Sitting down was a man with creme colred hair and yellow eyes, cat-like in expression, a black coat and a cane, and cleaning a wet and muddy cat boy on the floor. Seeing Caradoc he ran to him and sniffed his toe and the man got up with the cane, "Sorry, but my brother loves people."

Caradoc smiled and bent down to be at eye-level with the cat boy, "It's all right! He seems harmless enough." He murmured, then stood up, snapping his fingers, "You know what's amazing? Kool-Aide! Do you guys want me to get you any?"

River walked down the stairs running a hand though her hair quickly to get the mess out of her face. Smiling a bit she walked slowly over to the Coffee pot, ajusting the way she stood when she reached it. Rolling her neck the soft soundless pops made her feel less strained and more relaxed as she started to prepare the pot for use. Tilting her head to the left she relaxed her gaze on the pot itself, rembering well when Tomo Was the pot.
Snickering softly at the memory she washed the pot itself out setting it back into the coffee machine. sliding it in place she opened the top turning the heat on with the button. She gathered water in a cup and slid the filter in place. Pouring the water into the top she scooped some three scoops of coffee grains into the filter pushing it in and closing the lid to the machine, it hissed water slowly starting its decent to become the rich tasty coffee she adored so much.
