Kagamijiro was pleased with the results of an initial success, but he would need more than just a fluke of luck to do so, and he would have to regain his chakra so he could keep going, to push himself any further would probably cause him to collapse and fall unconscious. "Allright, rest, and then we get back to business." He grumbled as he ordered himself about. This was the epitome of self-respect and discipline. The young Mist academy student taking his spot back by the treee were he crossed his legs and went into a meditative stance. He then began to reflect, and wait for his chakra coil to replenish his body with what he lost during the training so far.
As he reflected during his rest, he began to think back on his reasons for becoming a shinobi. He wanted a purpose, a reason to live, but he didnt want to get too close to people for fear of forging a bond like he had with his adoptive father, and losing it all in an instant. He couldnt get over that pain of loss, and somehow, the regret of not being able to have saved his father made that pain and fear much more of a burden on his heart. "Father, I will become a legend and I will avenge the loss you experienced at the forge." He thought to himself as his chakra returned slowly to his body.
Finally it seemed like things were coming back together as his meditations replenished and helped speed up the rate at which his chakra flowed and returned to him. Kagami wanted to make sure he didnt push himself too hard, so that he could better place himself in his Bunshin training. He wanted to master that jutsu so he could move on to the next, or maybe some other sort of training. He knew he needed more chakra if he was to continue on like this, so possibly training the chakra amount he had would be a good idea.Quote: Resting (12 lines): regained 3 CP, 3/3 CP

He put his hands in seal formation and prepared for the jutsu. He focused his chakra to try and make it flow out of him, this time trying to create two clones at the same time, however, it didn't work out very well. It seemed that his multitasking abilities weren't up to the task because one clone was normal looking while the other was just a blob of gray that looked like it didn't even have any mass and couldn't even move when poked. Ikasu sighed and thought that he had a lot ahead of him as he needed to finish this training.Karite The Reaper Bunshin No Jutsu [Doppelganger Technique] This is a basic technique taught to ninja at an academy. Quote: Equation: 1d20(---)+Chakra Control(3) =Resting: DC: 10 Progress: 6/10Chakra: 0+6=6 Ikasu sat down and crossed his legs and watched as the other students around him were also trying to learn various jutsu. He saw another Hoshigaki that he hadn't noticed before sitting under a tree in the shade doing the same as Ikasu, crossed legs and meditating. Thinking that he didn't want to disturb the rest of another student, he was intrigued as to the rate of success that the Hoshigaki was going through because it looked as if he was also trying to learn the Henge no Jutsu technique. Getting curiouser and curiouser, Ikasu thought that he would play a quick prank to get the attention of the boy. He looked abnormally old to be an academy student, but he was definitely the same rank as Ikasu because he didn't see a headband anywhere. Stroking Sukauto before telling her what to do, Ikasu whispered instructions into her ear. A moment later, the small crocodile darted into the shadows and ended up right below the sitting Hoshigaki. Ikasu heard the soft growl as Sukauto tried to scare him out of his meditation, but he didn't wait to watch for a response and just went back to his breathing exercise. In time, Sukauto would eventually rise in volume to try and scare the kid, and then Ikasu would see what would happen after that. Thinking about his colleagues and classmates, Ikasu was surprised to see so many of the students being Hoshigaki. Strangely enough, only he and Batsu, or at least that's what he thought the other boys name was, were the only normal humans. Ikasu didn't particularly like the aggressive anthromorphic clan, so he tried to keep his distance generally. Shaking off his fatigue, Ikasu stood up once more in an attempt to try and finish his jutsu training. He knew that he would have to get done before he was made fun of for being the slowest one in the group.Karite The Reaper Bunshin No Jutsu [Doppelganger Technique] This is a basic technique taught to ninja at an academy. DC: 10 Progress: 10/10Chakra: 6-4+4=6 Ikasu wanted to impress Taka-sensei further, especially because he hadn't been noticed when he had pointed out his success to him before. Wanting to further impress his classmates and claim his superiority over the arrogant Hoshigaki that had participated in the fight just a few minutes ago, Ikasu went through creating clones at a rapid rate, the fastest that he had gone through before. Success after success gave Ikasu confidence to continue what he was doing. Before he knew what was going on, it seemed as if his training was finished. Proud that he had gone through so much in just an afternoon, he was wondering what he should do next. He wanted to show Taka his jutsu, but he knew that it wouldn't really be an accomplishment he could be proud of because it was such a simple jutsu to learn, why would he need to show it off anyway? Ikasu sat down once more and pondered what to do next. The next second, he was staring up at the sky and counting clouds and trying to decipher which shape best looked like what. It seemed that learning the jutsu had taken quite a bit out of him and that he had fallen asleep when he had sat down. Wondering how much time had passed, Ikasu didn't even make the effort to get up. He had worked hard, and he deserved this second long break that he was taking right now. It probably wouldn't be long before Ikasu had to go back to work learning more jutsu anyway, so he took the time that Taka-sensei was ignoring him to relax and catch his breath, then plan his next move. Wondering if he would have to actually create a couple clones, he decided that it was definitely time to get up off his butt and ask Taka-sensei for advice. Walking up to the jounin, he tugged on his elbow and pulled the most inquisitive face that he could.
"Taka-sensei, do I have to show you that I have mastered the jutsu to prove that I've learned the technique? I think I've practiced enough and that I'm ready to do it." Ikasu was hoping with all his might that he didn't have to show Taka-sensei what he had learned because that would mean a demonstration in front of all the other students, and he definitely didn't want to embarass himself in public. (( Last three rolls are ignored because I finished the jutsu in the first two rolls )) Quote: Equation: 1d20(13,11,14,17,9)+Chakra Control(3) = 16,14,17,20,12 : 5 clones made! Clones made: Progress: 5/5 Chakra: 6-5+5=6 Ikasu was feeling a little impatient, so he just decided to further try and impress Taka-sensei by taking initiative on his own and showing him that he could make as many clones as he wanted to. The first attempt netted him three clones, but Ikasu remembered the stories that only five or more would impress a teacher, so he tried again and this time he made two more. Meeting the quota of five clones, Ikasu felt extremely proud of himself as he beamed at Taka-sensei for his approval. "So what'd you think Taka-sensei, could I write down that I know how to do the Bunshin jutsu on a piece of paper now? I'm really eager to start on the next jutsu that I have to learn!" Ikasu was practically hopping with excitement now. Ikasu was panting after his jutsu using, so he bent over and put his hands on his knees and took another breather. He could feel the sweat on his brow and dripping down onto the ground, but he only took that as a sign of success. After so much hard work that day, he felt good to say that he definitely knew how to do the Bunshin justu now. He looked around to the other students and tried to see what jutsu they were working on and which jutsu he should move on to. Thinking back to his lessons back in the classroom, he thought that the next jutsu would be the transformation jutsu would be next. Preparing for that, he tried to remember which handseals and how much chakra he would have to be expending for that. Looking back to Taka-sensei once more, Ikasu knew that the duties of a high level shinobi were many, one including the teaching of young obnoxious kids like Ikasu and the Hoshigaki around the area, so Ikasu wasn't exactly looking forward to that. Ikasu resolved that once he turned into a higher ranking ninja, he wanted to be more of an ANBU or an Oinin instead of a teaching jounin, he hated obnoxious people, and he'd rather be out in the field rather than being stuck in the village doing something like this. He started daydreaming of life as an ANBU and thought about what kind of mask he would have, how his armor would look, and all the magnificent glory that he would get from the villagers who praised him for saving the village time after time. His goal in mind now, Ikasu was definitely ready to get through the academy jutsu needed to graduate.Karite The Reaper Bunshin No Jutsu [Doppelganger Technique] This is a basic technique taught to ninja at an academy. He made the seals and focused his chakra for power, before he called forth. "Bunshin no Jutsu!" He put his best efforts into making a clone identical to himself, and his efforts paid off. Next to him stood an illusory clone that looked just like Kagamijiro, and for this attempt, he was pleased with the results. However one was all that was needed for now, he was only getting the chakra control portion down.

He wanted to make sure he got this jutsu down like the back of his hand as he was sure it would aid him in assassinations and underhanded maneuvers. He cared nothing for honor in tactics. He was training to be a seven swordsman assassin, and it would happen one day if he kept progressing. "Bunshin no Jutsu!" And with the force of effort, and that drive, next to him, stood a new clone.

The training was tiring to him, and it was time, once more to rest and regain his strength. It was, however, the right time on that hill in the shade to rest once more. To take a breather in between a few tries. At this stage in his growth, Kagamijiro knew he couldnt push himself further than his body would allow or he could possibly die. "Father... I swear this is for you." He muttered under his breath as he slowly sat back down into his meditative stance. It seemed to be working for the most part of regaining his chakra.
It made him reflect back on the past in the forge. The hard days of pounding iron into slabs for his master, as well as father, to pound into weapons of destruction for war and civil struggle. Now it was Kagami's turn to undergo the hardships and toil to forge himself into a weapon. He would become a master craft swordsman, a proud soldier for the Mizukage. It was his dream and his goal. It had seemed, that now, he had found his purpose. The rest of his training was only a means to his goal.Quote: Resting: 8 lines: 2 CP restored. 3/3 CP

He was enjoying this now that he had a routine down. The only thing he needed to worry about was keeping his focus up and his spirits high. He kept that thought in mind as he performed the hand seals and allowed the chakra to flow. "Bunshin no Jutsu!" And with that, another perfect clone appeared next to him. Kagami looked to the clone and punched it, the thing dissolving into smoke as a result. "Time to rest again.." He muttered as he went to go sit back down and meditate.

Kagami sat back down by the tree, he was happy with his progress, and he wanted to continue with the rate he was going so he could keep with a steady rate of progression towards his graduation day. He wanted to be a true shinobi ninja. The only way for him to truly serve the Mizukage as a loyal assassin and weapon was to master the essentials in the academy. He knew very well of the hardships the outside world presented, having helped forge weapons to fuel that struggle. Sitting there, relaxing his chakra network, only made him think about what he was going to do with those skills.
He still needed to perfect his weapon craft, and that was something he would do after he graduated. He would need a sword anyway, so it only made sense. The thought of having a sword of his own made him almost foam at the mouth in anticipation of that day when he would graduate. It was something good to think about while he rested. The young mist academy student would need all the good thoughts he could get his hands on if he were to keep his spirits up for practice. He just hoped that one day, he would be respected for his dedication and loyalty.Quote: Resting: 8 lines: 2 CP regained, 3/3 CP

It was becoming a fairly easy concept to get hold of for the student as he then got into proper form. "Bunshin no Jutsu" Kagami said with determination heavy in his voice as he made the handseals and let the chakra flow to create the clone next to himself. It was another success. This was a definite confidence boost for the shinobi in training as he prepared to give it another go.

Quote: 3+3 = 6, DC 10, Failure CP: 0/3 - KO His next attempt in the jutsu was drastically different. Kagamijiro should have taken a break in between attempts, but he was too eager to continue, and for that over excitement, he simply exhausted himself. He tried the hand seals like before. His lips curved upward in a confident smile, however as he tried to execute the jutsu, he felt something wrong in his chakra control and it caused him to slip. "Bunshin no Ju-..tsu..." He felt tired, and his vision blurred. "Uhhh.. I feel.. sleepy suddenly." And with that said, he collapsed to his knees, and then fell flat on the ground with a light thud. He was out in La La Land, taking a nap now.
