"I thought that was what you were doing those mysterious nights." Roran laughed some more. "Too bad you can't anymore, Amy'll get on to you." Cocking an eyebrow with a sly smile, he let out a soft sigh. "Things are changing with us." His fingers played with the ring now on his finger, smiling some more at the fact it was there.

Vivian blinked a little as he suddenly kissed her, smiling as she gave him a kiss in return. Once they were inside, she led him up to Roran's room, pausing to step back. "Do you want me with you when you talk to him, or should I just stay out here?" She asked him, giving his hand a gentle squeeze.

Akori shook his head, "nah, even if I could I wouldn't....I....found someone new...who has a brain" he said his eyes still on Amy. "And the change we're going through...it's good for us" he added.
Hector "of course" he said he didn't mind having Vivian there all the time. "Roran" he said, seeing his brother come into sight.

"Ye Roran nodded in agreement. "The change is most definitly good. For all four of us. Hopefully for all four of them as well." Hearinghis name he turned around to see Hector and Vivian. "Yes?" Shivering as he suddenly felt cold, he realized his shirt was still off. Holding up his pointer finger, he walked back into the room, got his shirt, put it on, and came back out. "Sorry. Got cold. What was it you wanted?"

Akori turn to see Hector, he frowned wondering what he was doing.
Hector walked towards him, "we need to talk about a certain decision you made without consulting me first" he said in a normal tone.

Vivian walked in after him, giving Roran a small smile as he returned, noticing her sisters on his bed. Breathing in relief that Amaya was ok, she glanced up to Hector, giving his hand a small squeeze.

As he heard his brother, he knew exactly what he wanted to talk about. "Of course. Follow me." Leading Hector and Vivian to one of the deserted hallways in the tower Amaya hadn't wanted him in, it was deserted as it had been since the Princess's mother died at the top room. "I'll let you start."

Akori had an idea what it was about, but was too busy looking at Amy to care.
Hector inhaled deeply, "I'm not sure I agree to your choice....and I'm nto even sure it's fair to agree to your choice" he said, looking at his brother and wondering why this place was so deserted.

Roran looked his brother in the eyes. "What's not to agree with? I believe you and Vivian here are the best choices for the job if Amaya and I fail to do our duties. If Neither of us can rule the two kingdoms, you two will. Why is this not fair I'm putting you in charge? If I remember correctly, you'd dream of being King of Syra. So why not now?"

Hector sighed, "It's nto fair because naturally we're not next in line....and yes I've always wanted it, but I'd never take the throne before Xander you or Akori....meaning all three of you would have to die in order for me to rule and I'm fine with that.....what do you think the citizens will say if all of a sudden their king next in line is denied his throne and was skpiied to the youngest?" he asked.

Vivian remained quiet as they talked, shivering a little as she noticed which hallway they were in. She could see her mothers ghost, lowering her eyes quickly as she stood a little closer to Hector.

ROran closed his eyes. "They shouldn't care because the former King told them to skip themselves. Hector, don't you get it? Xander...Xander has business he must do involving the assassination attempt. Akori, he is no where near ready to rule. You know our brothers. Akori would much rather party than rule. He'd rather spar with Amy, wander the halls aimlessly, and just plain out relax without any worries than be King! And as I said, Xander has business with the assassination attempt, and he'd rather fight and be aggressive just like our father. You, though, with Vivian at your side," he bowed slightly to Vivian, giving her a brief smile, "would make a great King. Sure, you might go a little far to do some things right, but Vivian would be there to keep you in check so you don't do drastic things. just like I have Amaya. Wihout Amaya, I wouldn't be fit to rule! Just today, when Xander and I came to visit Rico, I would've killed him then and there in his cell, but the knowledge that Amaya was up in the castle kept me from it. I wanted to see her too badly to waste more time by killing him. Killing him would've been a rash move, but, as I said, Amaya kept me in check."
Looking deep into Hector's eyes, he sighed. "Then later today, when I was in Amaya's room, I made the best decision I ever have because of Amaya. I made the decision to make you and Vivian the King and Queen of both kingdoms in the event that both Amaya and I can't continue." Lowering his eyes, he looked to Vivian. "I'll assume you tried to convince him too, right?"

Hector bit the iinside of his lip, only stopping as he noticed that his mouth tasted of blood. He wondered why he'd done this. "I guess you're right, but I'm not sure I'm ready" he said, looking at Vivian puzzled as she came clsoer to him, "something the matter?" he asked quietly.

Vivian glanced up to Roran as he looked to him, nodding. "I did, but he was still really bugged by it." She lowered her eyes again as she shivered, the air growing colder to her. "I'll be fine. I can just see my mothers ghost is all..."

Hector frowned, "you can....wait" he began, "your dead mother's ghost?" he asked, confused a bit. He looked up to Roran, "Ok, I'll accept" he said, dragging Vivian away from there, he didn't wanna stay any longer, the thought of a dead person's ghost creeped him out right now.
