Ryoko took a delicate bite of her own pizza, which despite her apparently dainty manners was disappearing from off her plate with such speed and quantity that it was frankly a little frightening.

"I don't understand you, Kyaroru," she said after a long pause. "None of the Pride do. Sometimes I used to wonder why that was, why you were." She ran her claws lightly against the table as she spoke. "Today, when you told me you wouldn't go back to the Pride---that you would fight even Daisuke if you had to---it showed maturity. The kind of maturity that I and the rest of the Pride had looked for in you for so long, but directed in a totally different direction then we could have expected." She shifted her intensely green gaze into her sister's face. "It forces me to make a very difficult decision..." The Feral trailed off again, flicking several strands of silver across her shoulder. "As you know, the Bagheera are scholars...arbitrators. We cannot make judgement without knowing both sides."

She watched Mimi's face closely to see her reaction as she continued speaking, choosing her words carefully.

"I need to know what to do. About you. I know the Pride and their will. You..." She sighed, lifting slender ivory fingers toward her sister's hair, but dropping her hand before they could actually make contact with the silvery strands. "You are my favorite sister, but somehow I don't even understand you, even though I tried so long to help you. So...I want to propose a sort of...agreement. You have brave words, you're growing up, and you have potential but..."

Her eyes flicked up and down her sister's slight frame meaningfully. "You've tried to eschew what we are and it shows, but today I saw that you've learned you can't run forever from what you fear. One day you'll have to turn and fight---and then we will see what is strongest---Daisuke's power or the principles you treasure. If you want to defend those renegade beliefs of yours against Daisuke...you'll need to have steel in your claws as well as your backbone. I'll teach you to do that. And you...you teach me." She paused. "To...understand what...what you saw outside the Pride." Her claws contracted abruptly, sinking deeper into the wood of the table. "One chance. I will give you a chance, and you will do the same for me. I will be a sort of...kuasha to you, and vice-versa."

She fell quiet then.

"...Do we have a bargain...?"

It seemed like it would be a successful mission, not being noticed and what not! When Hakan put his mind to it after all, he was able to move silently. This is exactly what he had accomplished, and thus the two felines would hopefully cintinue not to notice him. Instead of putting any unnessicary work on his body, he allowed the shadows which exsisted under his control, seemingly at least, slide across the floor and pick up a piece of pizza.

As soon as he saw that the box was in the darkness' grasp, he turned and began to make his way back out allowing the shadow to take the pizza at it's own pace, it would catch up sooner or later! Hakan moved quickly. The sooner he got back to his room the better!

Ryoko picked up her glass of water and took a sip, setting the crystalline mug down with deliberate care.

"Then it's settled," she said, without preamble. "I will continue stay here, and misdirect Daisuke for the moment, and we will have the time to learn...for now." She inclined her head slightly, and pushed her chair back, straightening to her full height and stretching with the limber, lazy ease of the cat she was.

"I'll see you later then, Ky-chan," she told the younger feline. "I'll be in my room later if you need me." One corner of the full mouth that resembled her sister's quirked upward in an ironic line.

"It really was foolish of you to worry about me, you know," she added, with a faintly dark, smug smirk. "I slit open Saya's entire side---and we are *still* going to have that *talk* about that...person I scented in your hair today."

Ryoko was willing to learn, but she was, after all, still a Feral.

Hakan would simply pause. Standing there for a moment, in his current state of mind.. It was cloudy when it came to interacting with other people. Normally, Hakan would have either rolled his eyesd and played along, or say something sarcastic and go about his business.

However, as if it wasn't obvious by now, Hakan wasn't.. Wasn't Hakan! He would give a hiss which held a hint of irritation, and flung the box back at her as if it were a frisby, shortly afterwards his hands would slither into his pockets and he bagan to make his way up the stairs. "I wasn't hungry anyways."
