Where is your mother, it's getting late.

Where can she be, I do not know,
I'm so alone and miss her so.   "That's a great idea!" [Ducky beamed with pure joy at the thought, but faltered a bit when she heard a small argument break out near by.] "Hey Mar...cy?" [Ducky looked up, perplexed to find Marcy... 'There she is!' Ducky looked back quickly at the small group of cats, then scrambled after Marcy, hoping Smoke was right on her heels.] "Let's talk in here!"
The owl flies o'er with a who and a who,
Have I a sad tale to tell to you.
Your mother a sorry fate did meet,
She's fallen to the foxes teeth.
Then let me freeze says the shivering bird,
I cannot bear another word.
For all the other ducks have flown
And my sorrow is a heavy stone.

over whemled by the beautiful senerey of the small crunching
brown red and gold leaves beneath me. I scuttled into a large
pile, calling out to Pinekit in a muffled mew.] "Hey Pinekit!
Come catch me! Cmmo-." [I stopped as I crashed into the
small tree ahead of me, headfirst, my head and jaw started to
hurt as I felt dizzy. I yelped in agony as I felt my body
giveway, my little kit body slumped against the tree as blood
started to flow from my mouth in a little scarlet river.]

dear this is serious clan cat business, Marcy is busy, you mind
playing with the other kits over there like Envykit and Pinekit?
Get to know you clan!" [I mewed reassuringly, suprised from
my mood change.] "Don't worry Marcy, I hope your sister

I turned to glare at Lightsound. "Move, and I swear on Shatteredfang's dead body that I will break every bone in your body!" I growled, glancing at Vanillapaw. "You have guard duty, my friend," I purred with feigned enthusiasm before padding off to Envykit.
I licked the she-cat who looked so much like.....Shatteredfang, and picked her up, trotting over to Hauntedheart. I looked down at the kit. Her jaw looked sickening. I winced, and gazed at Hauntedheart for a moment, apology visible in my yellow eyes, and laid her down. "I'll get more cobwebs and things for Eaglesoar and Darkshadow. I think Envykit's jaw is messed up," I meowed quietly before padding to the medicine store, grabbing more cobwebs and a few leaves that looked and tasted like the ones that Hauntedheart used on wounds. They were.....Marigold, right?
Shaking my head, I padded back to them, chewing up the leaves, and spat the nasty mess onto a cobweb. I laid the spittle coated webs on Eaglesoar, rubbing the pulpy mess in. I snorted under my breath. Where on earth was Honeypaw?!

"Hey, I got the leaf? And I bet I can catch you in 5 seconds!" [I pounced into a professional hunters position, my tail wildly wagging, as I glanced though the swirling leaves, ready to capture Envykit. I bounced forward, expecting her patterned fur to show up somewhere in the pile. There!] "I found you!" [I called out gleefully, tapping her on the back.] "Your it now!" [And I jumped away, expecting her to come crashing after me. Didn't happen. Was she tricking with me? I didn't know. I slowly took a step forward, letting my leaf fly away.] "Envykit?" [I mewed softly, prodding her.] "You there?" [I plunged my paws into the leaves that covered her, trying to get to see her whole - My jaw gaped open in shock as I saw my sister, her small mouth etching bits of dark red. The same color as my leaf. She wasn't moving very much either. Worried a prodded her again. Maybe she ate a bad leaf?]
[I backed away as the black cat from before, rushed in, mumbling something about cats, and darted away before I could get a word in.] "Uh..." [Was all I managed to get out as I stumbled after him in a daze.]

[I looked around the camp, searching for Lavenderrain. She was helping Hauntedheart. Frowning, I turned back around only to see Envykit being carried into the Medicine Cat's den, blood everywhere]
"There's always something" I grumbled.
[Since Cinderwing was helping Envykit..who was watching Lightsound!? I bounded over, and skidded to a stop infront of the three cats]
"Vanillapaw! If you had been paying attention at all, you would've known that Marcy is to remain in the nursery, where she belongs for disrespecting the deputy, and a warrior" I snapped.
[Lashing my tail furiously, I sat down, baring my razor-sharp fangs slightly]
"Marcy, back to the nursery. Vanillapaw, go make some use of yourself and help Hauntedheart. She's got her paws full. I will watch Lightsound" I growled.
[Drawing myself up, I stared down at the cats, towering over three of them. Satisfied, I waited for the apprentice and the kit to leave]

[I watched Marcy leave, my ears flicking. I'll have to talk to her later I thought. Turning my attention back to Blackflame, I narrowed my eyes, angered]
"It's called being cautious, Blackflame. No one seems to understand what that means anymore! I'm trying to protect my Clan here! I don't think you fully understand! Lightsound is an intruder! Not. From. Our. Clan. We're not buddy-buddy with everyone you know!" I yowled.
