Hanyuu nodded and went back to Jake's side.
"...I'm sorry," Shane said to her. He stayed back, away from her, ready to leave if she rejected him again.

"I think we should move somewhere else," Faith suggested and led the others out of the room.
Hope waited for them to leave. "This isn't the first time, Shane.... How will I know you won't do it again?"

Hanyuu and Jake followed closely after Faith to another room.
"I know..." Shane said. "I'm sorry..." He wanted to snap at her, that if he hadn't done that Kisa would have killed him, then Hope, and then killed herself, and that the first time was all Kisa, that he had tried to push her away. But he couldn't say that to Hope. His hand clenched into a fist as he focused on not snapping at her.

"Are you hungry Hanyuu?" Faith asked.
Hope sighed a bit. Was all he could say was that he was sorry? Not even that it wouldn't happen again? Not even how much he wanted her back? Not that he wished there had been another way? Just sorry that she saw it? "I know you are sorry."

Hanyuu glanced to Jake, who smiled in return.
"Yes, she would," Jake said to Faith, smiling to her.
"Listen...Hope," Shane said. "I didn't want to do it, but...well, excuses are useless. I have no explanation for my actions, and that's why all I could say was that I was sorry. But I want you, no, I need you to come back, Hope. I hate seeing you like this, and I hate it even more that I caused it. Hope, please come back..."

Faith began to put together a sandwich for her.
Hope suddenly moved and hugged him around the waist. "I don't want to be mad anymore."

Shane looked incredibly surprised. He slowly moved his arms to hug Hope back, and started petting her hair.
