Matachi was sliding his head across the table now...drooling abit as he slid his head slowly back and forth across the table top...he was as high as a bird, he was so gone that he didn't even notice himself knock over the wine glass that was luckily empty.

"Help him to his bed for me. I need to cornor your brother about something." She spoke before she stood back up she leaned down giveing matachi a slight kiss on top of his head before she went back into the main hall looking for Zypher.

Tempest sighed and helped Mitachi walk down the hall towards his room. Maybe he was just drunk after all....

Zypher sighed and shook his head.
"You being unemployed has nothing compared to what the queen is going to do to me now. I'm gonna get so many levels of hell thanks to you guys. I got you to come here to help in order to protect the kingdom. At this point though I'ts going to take a bit of explaining to get you positions in the kingdom now tha you admitted to mercenary work." Zypher shook his head surprised that Zakai never heard of this law before. Unless he was playing dumb..... That was doubtfull though.

Katherine's voice was herd behinde them she had herd a lot of what they had said. "It was hired swords that posioned my father." She walked forward then. "and i was far from ready to take power at that time." She looked between them all. "I believe if you wanted work with your skills you would have came here or to one of the cities before now." Her purple eyes then rested on Zypher. "and your right Zypher it will be very hard for me to let them anywhere near here, but then i didn't you did." Her tone wasn't upset nor did she look mad her words were simipley stated.

"You know very well I'm aware of your father's death and how it accured. I was on the team that was hunting them down. These guys are different and only do what they do because they know nothing else. If it helps any Zakai is just a moron who really didn't know that was the law." Zypher said. He knew the queen was angry with him but didn't retreat from it. He would help her see that he had trust in these men even though one of them needed an attitude check.

Katherine's gaze didn't even flicker away from Zypher's when Kanis went. "I am sure your right Zypher but it is the matter of principle. I asked Jack not to kill anymore because what happend after it was wrong and by the gods if i could get Sekain to stop bringing his lackies here i would because i know that this is not his first calling its his second. You know your man was right its not his problem." Her tone was a bit sadder now. "but it is men like that who killed there own king. I know we have something serious going on here. Something that will be hard to face but what is going to happen when worse comes. What do you think there after Zypher my throne? You would be very wrong. Not everyone in the world loves what I am." She looked over to Zakai and gave a slight nod before turning and walking away.

"I don't care who is after your throne I care who is after your life. And these guys will throw away everything to do what's right. Espescailly Zakai..... Hear the man out and understand what has happened in his own life. I'll have you know these guys aren't regular mercenaries. They only kill those enlisted in the black market. I know it doesn't change the fact they are mercenaries. But these two have never EVER killed anyone else who wasn't a killer or thief themselves. You close your heart as soon as you hear the phrase mercenary. I'm an assasin yet I do work to better the kingdom. These men do the same with the sword for hire title." Zypher said as the queen turned away. He himself also turned and started to walk off.
